There are some half asian kids who look more white, but more often they look more asian. It varies, just like all genetics.

heres how it works, Black genes are the most dominant, no matter what happens if a non black mates with a black, the kid will always turn out fully black looking with minimal features of the other race.

Asian genes dominates over white genes and to a lesser extent other brown genes such as indian, hispanics etc..... Resulting in most of the time, the kid will turn out looking either fully asian with minimal features (Dennis Oh is a perfect example) or mostly asian looking.

If one's mum is Asian and dad is Caucasian, the one would inherit all the mitochondrial DNA from his/her mother. He or she would in fact be more Asian.

But if one's dad is Asian and mum is Caucasian, the one inherits the mito DNA from his/her mother and turns out to be more Caucasian.

Mitochondrial DNA is almost always maternally inherited.

I have friends who are a mixed asian/white couple and their baby definitely looked asian, not white at all. Now that he's a little older you can see a little bit of caucasian. But he definitely looks a lot more like his mom. It's just the way it is.

when you're mixed, it doesnt mean that you will look half and half. sometimes an asian who is mix will look more asian than white, or more white than asian, or fully on one side. I have friends that i dont know that they are mixed untill one day I curse something in chinese during class, and a friend say"dont say that", and she told me about visiting her relative in taiwan, then she told me she's half taiwanese.

And some look seamlessly mixed. Melanin is a big factor, but not the only deciding factor in a person's physical makeup. Plus consider the fact that Asia is gigantic, and is the most populated continent. So people of Asian ancestry can come in all shades from very fair-skinned to very dark-skinned.
