  • I dont get it whenever a comedian is a diffrent ethnicity thay always have to make a big deal about it.

  • @ualp90 It's a fair point and I DO get where you are coming from. However, as a comedian, you bring your 'life experience' to the stage. Your nationality and cultural background is a big part of that. You just can't escape it! So I talk about the funny side of growing up as a Pakistani immigrant in the UK and then moving to Saudi Arabia as a 'brown brit'. There's a comedy goldmine righ there! However, I do also talk about things not connected to these topics (honest!!). Thanks for the question!

  • He's a natural XD "BRITANY!" Laughed my head off.

  • @rehman123 hi mr rehman, I was just feeling a bit down and played your legendary scooby doo clip! This clip always makes me laugh so much, have u got any gigs coming in the midlands area in near future, I wanna come up and see you. Thnx for keeping us smiling .

  • @MrMagsimus Hey there. No gigs planned in the Midlands I'm afraid because I live in Saudi Arabia! But I'm really glad I'm able to cheer you up from so far away!

  • Awesome Video ! You Rock Mr. Rehman !

  • copied an act from ommid jalilli!

  • @k4l4m Actually, Omid wasn't the first to use this trick (although I'll admit, he IS the most famous!) and he probably wonlt be the last. I've shared the stage with Omid a few times and he has never complained to me! Thanks for the observation though! (hope you enjoyed the rest of the performance or did you just watch the first 30 seconds? :)

  • @rehman123

    i watched all of it........

  • @k4l4m Thanks! Hope you enjoyed it.

  • watch from 3.30 ;)

  • Loved the dance part XD

  • you are not funny at all!!!!:S But you are rather annoying!!

  • @AlmondsBoo Sorry to hear you feel that way. Thanks for expressing your opinion.

  • dont watch him then lol @AlmondsBoo

  • @Pakforce1 what's it to you? I am entitled to my own opinion!

  • @AlmondsBoo YEAH, Pakforce1 leave AlmondsBoo alone. I DEFEND the right of people to find me annoying! :)

  • you are one funny paki see you on bbc soon!

  • Ausum amazing stuff, the arabic accent!!!

  • @theatifband Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it (I'm sure I could improve the Arabic accent!) :)

  • I do apologize if i have offended you but i stumbled across this video while watching maz jobrani!look all im trying to say is be more original thats all.

  • @shafa001 Hello again. Maz is another great performer and I've been lucky enough to share the stage with him several times recently (in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia). I didn't take offence at your comment (although it WAS rather directly put!). One of the risks of being on Youtube is that people will give you their 'gut' reaction - that can be an advantage and a disadvantage - Keep smiling and thanks again for your input.

  • omid jalali copycat!this guy is awful

  • @shafa001 Thank you for taking the time to comment. I actually accept all criticism - negative or positive as long as it is put politely. FYI - Omid Djalili was NOT the first person to switch accents on stage and nor will he be the last. It's a tried and tested technique. I spent two days with Omid last month in the Middle East and I can assure you he had no complaints about my performance.

  • When he's making fun of your Brit nationality he's basically saying, 'Who are you kidding?'

  • Just came across rehman after watching Paul choudry and wow!! I didn't know great talent like this was out there with the Asians.. Thankyou mr rehman u had me in stiches .. Laughed so much with the Arab routine my sides hurt! Lol thnx guys

  • @MrMagsimus Thanks for the lovely comment. Glad I made your sides hurt! Paul is a great guy. We did a gig together for the BBC when I used to live in UK, hosted by the great Russell Peters - and Paul still (sort of) recognises me if I see him. He recently stopped in the middle of a performance in Edinburgh and said "Do I know you?". Thanks again for your comment.

  • What do you call a Pakistani comedian? As-if.

  • You got any gigs going on or coming up sometime? Please keep us updated. Thanks!

  • @B0ssPlayaz - Thanks a lot, bro. I appreciate you taking the time to comment. The dancing ability is a result of too many bhangra parties when I was at University! (I knew it would come in handy ONE day!). :D

  • @rehman123 LOL @ the scooby doo moment! ur really talented mashallah

  • @dangergodboy Thanks, bro! Glad you liked it. It took a lot of time in front of the mirror to get the "scooby doo moment" sounding right !! LOL

  • "i use to have a weight problem"

  • MAN !! I loved the LOL comedy tour 2 , & I just couldn't stop laughing at your advice on emergencies ! " Amoeba !!! " that was really hilarious.

I would really like to see more jokes about the pakistani-saudi relationship & a lot about both countries is misunderstood.

I wanted to ask you : aren't you afraid that some Saudis may be offended?

I mean I wasn't offended by anything you said , but you know some of us are really proud !

looking forward to seeing you perform again.

    GL :-)

  • Hi there..Firstly, MANY thanks for the lovely comments. Im glad you enjoyed the LOL 2 Tour. I had great fun performing in Riyadh and Jeddah. Comedy always risks causing some offense, but I happen to have a lot of affection and respect for Saudi people and usually show people that I'm willing to laugh at myself before making fun of others. Luckily, not a single Saudi has ever said they feel offended by my material. In fact they have given me the nickname: "Al Britanee". Hope that continues!

  • I guess you had to be there.....

  • To some extent yes!...I admit, it's pretty regionalised humour. I do material for other nationalities too, though!

  • lol nice switch from desi to western accent!!! I usually do that at the office to throw my colleagues off

  • Thanx! Obviously it only works when I'm performing in front of new audiences who don't know me...but it's great fun watching their faces (isn't it?) LOL.

  • @rehman123 exactly!!! great act. If you're ever in Toronto, it would be great to be part of your audience.

  • Funny you should say that! I've had several requests to perform in Toronto. It's a LONG way from Saudi Arabia, but I might just do it. Watch this space!

  • hmm good stuff.... but do bring in some more jokes relating politicians you can say and the american brit jokes aye :D

would be glad enough to see some Pakistani kickin there arse :P

  • Glad u liked it...and thanx 4 the suggestions! :)

  • hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh nice part about saudis

  • Thanks. The Saudi sketch was a big hit over here, even amongst the Saudis who DO see the funny side of it (lucky 4 me!). They even gave me the nickname "Al Britanee" !!

  • Nice.. would like to see more :)

  • Thanks! I released a DVD earlier this year. A show called "Rehman & Friends" - over 2 hours of comedy from me and some of my comedian buddies. Drop me a message and let me know where you are - I'll see if I can get a copy to you!

  • good stuff...too bad u didn't get in

  • Thanks. There's always next year, eh?!

  • very good and entertaining, keep them coming,

  • LOL that was awesome!

  • lol that was funny
