get a hsp (flying fish)1/10 scale there only 190 bucks and you can upgrade them i already spent $300 on top but you can keep going if you want, and got the cash

depends , you got drift tires? and its alot easier to drift if u buy or convert to the drift package., HoBao hyper 10's are quite a good start for $400 AU

15t yokomo motors eat all of the brush in 2-3 runs, i prefer novak gtb 5.5r high torque and when u want u can use it as a 3.5t brushed motor(the performance is same but the motor is 5.5t brushless =) i think do not wawste money with brushed ones)

brush is the coal thingy on the motor, if u run the motor on very high rpm (need to drift) ur motors brushs will wear off sonner, so buy a 19t motor or go buy a brushless =) i had a 15t motor that i used for drifting and i have to pay 10$ every week just for the brushes =)

yerhz uhhh i could drift with my rwd rc car but it wasnt as good as a 4wd... 2wd can drift but it takes time and practise, but evn so u cant drift aslong as a 4wd... a 4wd can drift like 5 feet and shit.. im jsut saying u can drift with 2wd, but 4wd is more preferable :D

I agree, electric gives the best drifting feel. They use rwd on 1/1 scale cars to drift, don't they? I have a 4 tec for drifting, its every bit as good as those cars.

i agree if you had a 2WD you would do donuts and nothin to pull you so they all are 4WD and they are probably using yokomo drift tires BUT for the cheap people which is not them you can also make your own drift tires out of PVC tubing

most likely 4200mah batts and 9-27 turn motors, 16 turn would be ideal for drift and PVC or ABS tyres are a must
