I got a 55' a couple monthes ago,it had been sitting 4 years,I changed the plugs and wires,relaced the battrey,changed the oil and it fired right up.

I'm glad it's getting a resto. Too many of these Cyclones have been left for dead or crushed. I know where a 68 428CJ car is, but the owner refuses to sell it. Oh well, can't win 'em all, but it's fun to try.

No, I don't know any shops. Back in 1988 my son had a fenderbender with this Mercury Cyclone, and he finally got the needed parts after scavenging junk yards in a number of states, but I am sure it is much more of a problem now.

These parts pop up every 3 months on ebay. Persistance pays off when you really want these parts. Good luck. Nos parts are really getting pricey these days. A mint Cale car can fetch half a million at auction. Germans and the Japanese are buying these treasures since the dollar is at a low.
