I got mine for a year and 3 months and it has been a very good car. The most surprising thing about it is that it was much more reliable than the BMW 850CSi I had before, handles better, more economical (weirdly, but just a little), sounds better and due to the rear transaxle, it puts the power down better. Slighly dearer to insure though.
Overall I rate the car 8.6/10, not the best Ferrari but overall very good. Currently being restored .
Basically, the main differences between the 575 Maranello and the 550 maranello are the grille. It is shorter and has less rungs and usually comes in a chrome finish compared to the long smiley black grille of the 550.
Plus, it has a bored out 5.7L V12 engine as opposed to the 5.5L unit in the 550.
