as much of a mk fan as i am, youll never see this happen. why? because mortal kombat is so unbalanced, capcom would have a headache trying to fix it. the guys over at midway (namely boon and co.) dont put a lot of thought into the story or the gameplay, everything is over the top and filled with massive amounts of cheese.imagine yourself as capcom, would you really want to help midway get a consistant fighting system for future releases? because we all know midway cant do it.

Just like Cap vs SNk, it isn't that hard to remake characters. I've seen fighting games with an anime style sub zero or scorpion and turned out having an even balance, and a lot more frames than usual mk games which is like one frame per hit.

no, what im saying is capcom would try and fix the entire mk system, and midway being terrible game designers would be a thorn in the side of capcom. yeah, mortal kombat can be fixed. Dosent mean that the MK Team will do it.

Also, its not in the interest of Capcom to make a cross over, since they would correct the very flawed mk system, and even after the cross over is done midway might reuse it and sell more because of it.

what im getting at is: Midway is filled with inept game designers.
