There is not that kind of setting. If You want 16:9 aspect ratio, so You can enable Custom size for example 1280x720 or if You want to have 4:3 aspect ratio, so You can click on for example 640x480.

Your processor is ok, but You need more RAM. 1GB RAM is enough only for a 32bit WinXP, but if You have any other newer Windows or Mac so I recommend at least 2GB RAM and if You have 64bit OS so in many case You need at least 4GB RAM.
VideoGlide should work in every Mac OS 10.3.9 and later and if You have that latest Snow Leopard OS 10.6.X, so You must have VideoGlide 1.4.2 or later. Maybe Your installation package has corrupted during downloading or installation and You should download that package once again and try it again.

In my opinion is that Ulead Video Studio 10 with EasyCap DC60+ is better software than ArcSoft Showbiz DVD 2 - for examble: 1. ArcSoft Showbiz doesn't support 16:9 screen format 2. ArcSoft has only Mpeg video format in use - Ulead has DV, Avi, Mpeg, VCD, SVCD, Dvd and Wmv. 3. It is possible to render captured video to the HD size with Ulead but not with Arcsoft.
@EasycapExpertti I do not use Ulead I use AMCAP when recording but I got Ulead with my other easycap so im not really bothered I always render and deinterlace my videos in 720p with sony vegas
i just bought this and i have it for mac... and it dosnt even turn on the green light when i plug it in. Quick question. do u have the white one or the black one? I got the black one. I also messed up because i got the one with the wrong software which is EZcap. Anyways when you plug yours in does the light turn on even if you dont have the software installed and i also tryed this with a pc (without software installed) and got the same result. ok, so i did everything i think and when i plugged it in the light did not turn on but on the recording screen if i plugged to easycap in the screen would turn green and red when not... it was really weird.
green and purple colors means normally that Your USB port is not version 2.0 as it should be - so it is too old version and too slow to show video right.

Ok - I have done also that way: First capturing with VideoGlide and then editing it with iMovie and exporting it as a QuicTime Movie format with HD-size 720x1280px.
Switch off Mac and take EasyCap away from USB port then
1. restart Mac
2. hook EasyCap to the USB port
3. start VideoGlide
4. click on Digitizers and from that menu VideoGlide
If You have in Mac also Windows OS and You have used that with EasyCap earlier, so it is possible that it affects still to that device and doesn't give it to Mac OS.
It is possible that You have confligt against some other USB device like TV-dongle or there is some file corrupted in VideoGlide and You must reinstall it.

You can use that Ulead Video Studio 10 for capturing video if You have Windows OS in Your Mac. Though I have not use ever Windows in my Macbook and I can not say how well Windows OS is compatible with Mac's USB port, but You must try and tell all of us.

Gold plated ends are always better than silver plated. In my opinion is that high quality gold plated RCA cable is better/as good than silver plated s-video with these video capturing devices.

Have You taken in use that "USB EMP Audio Device" driver in Ulead's options? If You have Vista in Your Mac so that Preview audio doesn't work but when You capture video and then make playback You can hear the audio.

That is a wrong driver - You must delete it from Device Manager and install USB 2861 Device for video and USB EMP Audio Device for audio from CD. Remember to restart computer after installing and hook until after that EasyCap to the USB port. Then take that audio driver in use from options. Then make a test recording and if there is still no audio, so go to Device Manager and update only audio drivers via internet and install either USB Codec- or USB Audio Device- driver.
Ok, you need to get a real job instead of putting up annoying videos that are 4 minutes of you clicking the highest settings in menus. People can click on a menu for FREEEEE. Oh and I bought mine on amazon dc 60++ for mac and it works great. By the way your demo video made me want to throw up.
Hopefully You do not get problems with that EasyCap DC60++, because it is propably fake. Genuine EasyCap factory in Shenzhen have not ever make that kind of model. Besides that I have heard that with this product comes license key for VideoGlide which is probably illegal copy - so You can get some day problems, because this software will send a check email via internet to EchoFX every time You start it and they will check those keys and if it illegal, so they lock that software via internet.

Do You have "VideoGlide" in the Digitizers menu? What is Your sending device and are You
sure it is sending SD signal at this moment? Are You using composite cables (yellow, red and white heads)?
Be sure that You first hook EasyCap DC60+ into the USB port and until after that start VideoGlide.

Yes - as far as I know it is the only software which have inside built Mac drivers for Empia chipsets. I have sold that VideoGlide license key with EasyCap DC60+ v3.1B and my discounted price for it is 12,99USD - the price of the manufacturer is 29,95USD. I have tested that You can use that VideoGlide drivers with Final Cut Pro and then it is possible to capture staright into FCP.

VideoGlide works only with Empia chipsets - there is Empia 2861 chipset inside that the best EasyCap model DC60+ v3.1B. If You have bought a basic Easycap DC60, so it has Philips SAA7113 chipset and it can't work with VideoGlide.

You can use VideoGlide with Your Mac - I have a tutorial vid for it in my Uploads.
You can't deinterlace in ArcSoft ShowBiz 2... I recommend to use software called Mpeg Streamclip for that.

Your processor is ok, but You need more RAM. 1GB RAM is enough only for a 32bit WinXP, but if You have any other newer Windows or Mac so I recommend at least 2GB RAM and if You have 64bit OS so in many case You need at least 4GB RAM.

VideoGlide should work in every Mac OS 10.3.9 and later and if You have that latest Snow Leopard OS 10.6.X, so You must have VideoGlide 1.4.2 or later. Maybe Your installation package has corrupted during downloading or installation and You should download that package once again and try it again.

You should buy a license key of VideoGlide. My price in my online store is 12.99USD, but it is allowed to sell it only with a device and if You already have a device, so the only way is to buy it from the manufacturer - the price in the site of EchoFX.com is 29.95USD.
Do not try to install any illegal copy of serial, because it can lock that software and it is then very difficult to get to work again even if You have bought later a genuine serial from EchoFX.

This device works in Mac with VideoGlide software, so You can play PS3 games with it in Your Mac's wholescreen and also record it if You want so. You have basic EasyCap DC60 and it has Philips chipset which doesn't support 60Hz videos. VideoGlide is just Mac software and it works very well with EasyCap DC60+ v3.1B which has Empia 2861 chipset. It is very difficult to say if Your EasyCap is fake or not - if it is a fake it can looks like an original, but quality of the components and work is probably worse and it can be go broken easily.

In my opinion is that Ulead Video Studio 10 with EasyCap DC60+ is better software than ArcSoft Showbiz DVD 2 - for examble: 1. ArcSoft Showbiz doesn't support 16:9 screen format 2. ArcSoft has only Mpeg video format in use - Ulead has DV, Avi, Mpeg, VCD, SVCD, Dvd and Wmv. 3. It is possible to render captured video to the HD size with Ulead but not with Arcsoft.

i just bought this and i have it for mac... and it dosnt even turn on the green light when i plug it in. Quick question. do u have the white one or the black one? I got the black one. I also messed up because i got the one with the wrong software which is EZcap. Anyways when you plug yours in does the light turn on even if you dont have the software installed and i also tryed this with a pc (without software installed) and got the same result. Is my easycap broken? Please help!

Green light turns on until the software connect drivers with EasyCap DC60+ v3.1B, EzCAP108 and EzCAP116 which have Empia 2861 chipset.
With Mac You need a software where is inside built Empia 28xx drivers as like VideoGlide.

This demo version is free - only limitations are recording time to 10minutes and manufacturer's watermark on the screen.

Have installed them all now - drivers, software and FFDShow codecs? Have You tried with Deput or VirtualDub? It can be so that Your computer is not compatible with heavy Ulead VideoStudio 10, but some other software will work.

Probably yes What you are seeing is called interlacing. It's an artifact of the way NTSC
and PAL are encoded. It's a long topic so I won't go into much detail, but basically instead of 30 frames per second, NTSC delivers 60 fields per second, where each successive field is first the odd scanlines, then the
even scanlines.

The fields are recombined into
frames by VideoGlide cpature but no "deinterlacing" is performed, hence
objects can appear "combed". Google "deinterlacing" for much more detailed
information.
There is no ideal solution for deinterlacing. There are problems no matter
how it is approached. However, that being said, there is an excellent and
free piece of software called "MPEG Streamclip"

"MPEG Streamclip" does a really good job of deinterlacing video. When you export the
movie, be sure to click the "deinterlace" checkbox in the dialog that comes
up.

Switch off Mac and take EasyCap away from USB port then
1. restart Mac
2. hook EasyCap to the USB port
3. start VideoGlide
4. click on Digitizers and from that menu VideoGlide
If You have in Mac also Windows OS and You have used that with EasyCap earlier, so it is possible that it affects still to that device and doesn't give it to Mac OS.
It is possible that You have confligt against some other USB device like TV-dongle or there is some file corrupted in VideoGlide and You must reinstall it.

It should be good enough with 32bit Vista - with 64bit Vista that 4Gb RAM is too little if this grapfic card is integrated model and uses computers RAM.
Check that from Task Manager's (press ctrl+alt+del) Performance tab - CPU Usage must be 5-50% during capturing and if it is much more so try to stop all other
programs or buy more RAM.

4GB RAM should be enough if Your processor is better than Intel 1,7GHz.
I have 2GB RAM and 2,0GHz Intel C2D processor in my Macbook and there is not any lag when I have captured with VideoGlide.

The most common reason for this is that Your processor works too hard - that can due to for example:
1. Too many programs or processes on at the same time
2. Viruses that takes too much power from computer
3. Temporary memory is full - restart computer
4. Video codecs are defective - install FFDShow codecs
5. There is something wrong with graphic card's drivers - try to find newer drivers from the manufacturer's site
Try to stop extra programs You do not need at that moment or buy more RAM.

Gold plated ends are always better than silver plated. In my opinion is that high quality gold plated RCA cable is better/as good than silver plated s-video with these video capturing devices.

Have You taken in use that "USB EMP Audio Device" driver in Ulead's options? If You have Vista in Your Mac so that Preview audio doesn't work but when You capture video and then make playback You can hear the audio.

That is a wrong driver - You must delete it from Device Manager and install USB 2861 Device for video and USB EMP Audio Device for audio from CD. Remember to restart computer after installing and hook until after that EasyCap to the USB port. Then take that audio driver in use from options. Then make a test recording and if there is still no audio, so go to Device Manager and update only audio drivers via internet and install either USB Codec- or USB Audio Device- driver.

3. Install drivers from CD

Ok, you need to get a real job instead of putting up annoying videos that are 4 minutes of you clicking the highest settings in menus. People can click on a menu for FREEEEE. Oh and I bought mine on amazon dc 60++ for mac and it works great. By the way your demo video made me want to throw up.

Hopefully You do not get problems with that EasyCap DC60++, because it is propably fake. Genuine EasyCap factory in Shenzhen have not ever make that kind of model. Besides that I have heard that with this product comes license key for VideoGlide which is probably illegal copy - so You can get some day problems, because this software will send a check email via internet to EchoFX every time You start it and they will check those keys and if it illegal, so they lock that software via internet.

At this moment I have an offer of EasyCap DC60+ v3.1B and VideoGlide license key with price 47,90USD (included shipping) in my eShop.
But You can also buy first only a device and use that with free demo version of VideoGlide and buy that license key to the full version later.

I recommend EasyCap DC60+ v3.1B and VideoGlide. Look at some sample vids in my Youtube channel's Uploads and Favorites.

Yes - You can record from TV or digital TV-box or satellite TV-box. Besides that You can record almost every video source like game consoles, DVD-player, VHS-player, Digital camera, camcorder, DVR-camera or make a audio record studio or stream live video to internet or make a security camera system.

Yeah - if You use EasyCap DC60+ v3.1B and VideoGlide. Besides that You may need to purchase some cables and adapters to hook those devices to EasyCap. EasyCap DC60+ supports Mac 10.3.9 and later. Also that newest OS 10.6 works with EasyCap DC60+, but You need to have VideoGlide version 1.4.2 or newer.

I will send You a download link to the latest demo version of VideoGlide right away. If You have webcam in Your Mac, so You can test it. If You buy that license key from me later, so it wil turn that demo to the full version. In the demo version there is limited time to 10 minutes/one video and manufacturer's watermark in the screen.

I have sold that VideoGlide license key to full version in my eShop (the link to it is in my Youtube channel) and it cost 23,90$ without device and only 18,90$ if You will buy also a device from me.
Do not try to use illegal copies of serial with VideoGlide, because that serial will be locked to only one device and that software will check always via internet from the manufacturer if You serial is real.

Besides that if You try to change that illegal copy to real one, so it is not possible any more for this device, because that wrong serial is already locked to that device (reinstalling of software doesn't help You).
VideoGlide is the best quality/price software that have inside built Mac drivers for Empia 2861 chipset, which is inside EasyCap DC60+ v3.1B and EzCAP116.

I know your mac, but my verison on windows keeps saying that it comes up with i Need to upgrade to SP2, when i'm already running SP3. Any Ideas (anyone?)

You must start setup files manually from CD. You must have there other version of EasyCap than EasyCap DC60+ v3.1B, because that problem is already solved in this version.

OK guys, be gentle, have an easycap 60+, works flawlessly with windows..
but soemone please explain to me how I ge this to even show up on my mac...
oh and so you know, been a mac user for 2 days, lol so you really do need to explain, nice and easy...
Oh and I have got the demo of videoglide, and I have tried the following...easycap in...then videoglide.....= nothing but icamera showing up.
tried vedioglide, then easy cap..= nothing.
so need help, or more still a driver for the easycap...

Yes - it is very important that You hook first EasyCap to USB-port and until after that start VideoGlide and then choose from the Digitizer menu VideoGlide.
Check these:
1. If You have Snow Leopard OS, so You must have the newest VideoGlide version 1.4.2
2. Do You really have EasyCap DC60+? Is there printed on CD Ver3.1A or Ver3.1B? Is Your Windows video driver name "USB 2861 Device"?

hey it doesnt say that i can pick videoglide. it only says built in camera and it makes a weird noise when i put the sound on. need help!

You must put first EasyCap into USB port and until after that start VideoGlide - THAT IS VERY IMPORTANT ORDER. If the sound is weird so try to change audio rate from 44KHz to 48KHz.
