  • Да.... МЕГА гитарист!!!!

  • @fadetoblack1290 The important word is "arranged". Music is not a thousand farts per second. Besides, i do not use gross words to describe your idol. Keep correct man.

  • @thierry75005 How is this not arranged? If you knew what music was any more you'd be a toddler with DOWNS

  • I love how at 1:33 he stills finds time to adjust the tuning of one of the strings haha

  • Priest of the Unholy - Perpetual Flame - 2008.

  • @ 1:08 Eargasm!

  • @toledosan yeah, that's a good ear.

  • the tone hounds would love that "tone"

  • The God Of The Strato White =) Manito Arriba

  • Slight of hand with the pickup selector is amazing, people say cliche guitarists are gods but to be honest none of them can beat the technique, style or speed of Malmsteen. This guy is really something special.

  • Yeah SRV was the BLUES GOD i dont know about joe bonamassa though he seems to play more like clapton which in my opinion is the boring way of playing where as SRV used to play guitar behind his back proplerly he was skilled

  • To be honest, I'm more impressed with his pickup switching skills than his actual playing.

  • Holy shit!!!!!! Did 1:32 really happen??? Woah.

  • @brandon2784 He just tuned it midsolo.... MOTHER OF GOD....

  • i bet he'd play twice as fast if he removes all his bling lol :)

  • He is improvising over "Priest of the unholy" case closed not several parts of different songs or any bs like that wtf

  • 30 yrs and still the same shit being played, one trick pony.

  • @joe1969812 Dude you will probably be a plumber for 30yrs.....he wins.

  • @roost24 You are right, as a matter of fact l was laying pipe at your mamas house just this morning,

  • @joe1969812 Really?...that is gross. Maybe next time, think of a comeback from THIS decade.

  • @roost24 Damn 80s shredders...tough crowd.

  • @joe1969812 what did you expect him to play, fucking steve vai or something(shakes head) @all these people who expect different results from the same situation, the irony here is that is basically the definition of insanity,so if you dont lik it then dont listen but for 30 years it has been a wonderfully melodic shred experience for anyone gifted enough to understand it...

  • Why the fuck does the video stop at around 2:40?

  • does anyone know the name of this song? or is it just an improv? i like it

  • @joshissupa dude anything that from Ynwie's hand is awesome com on now, it does not matter if it improv or a song lol

  • @joshissupa He took parts from several songs

  • @joshissupa priest of the unholy on his album perpetual flame

  • Yngwie's not nearly as good as Herman Li.

    Let the bitching begin.

  • No matter what they say and who's the best because Yngwie is the greatest.. !!

The God father of Shredding and Maestro of Neo-Classical Metal.

No one can compare with Yngwie the greatest guitar player and song writer!

  • @Balintataw666 Paul Gilbert does speed and precision better than yngwie sorry to burst your bubble.

  • @GrenadeCatcher I have to agree with this. Gilbert is technically better. Their styles are a bit different. And Eric Johnson shouldn't even be in this list as his style is completely different. Although he is great is his own right. I'm not saying Yngwie sucks at all, just that Paul is better technically. But check out Paul's Viking Kong and you'll see that he takes it lightly and can play in Yngwie's style as well.

  • @scourge34 : But in Terms of Song Writing Do you think Paul is still the best compare to Yngwie?

Yngwie is not just a Guitar Player but also a very good song writer.

Jeff Loomis and Rusty Cooley (If you know them ?) Admired Yngwie as their Main Influence.

  • @Balintataw666 I think they are both good song writers. Once again though, differing styles. I like both. I just happen to think that Paul is better on the technical side. That doesn't stop me from admiring Yngwie as well though. He's very good at what he does.

  • @scourge34 .. Let's enjoy their music and talent instead dude !!!.. \m/

just look at thess people saying garbage to great musicians. I Admire all of them from blues,

metal, progressive and neo classical guitarist. no matter who they or what their music are, we have to respect and appreciate what they have established.. What I can say in a simple way.. I LIKE THEM ALL...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @GrenadeCatcher : Both yngwie and Paul have their own style what refer to is

Yngwie started it all (Shredding) . Neo-Classical Genre will never exist without yngwie.

Paul is the one of the best as well but you can't deny the fact that yngwie is the pioneer of Shredding ?

  • @Balintataw666 pioneer of shredding? I dont think thats a title yngwie really can take credit for. Many people pioneered shredding not just one person.

  • @GrenadeCatcher : There's a lot of Guitar players today who are much faster than Yngwie. But what I'm talking about is he built his own Genre "Neo-Classical Metal" that all of the best guitarist today were influenced by Malmsteen (Ex. Rusty Cooley, Jeff Loomis, Joh Petrucci and Many others)....... Let's cut this shit dude .. You have your own view and I have mine. Let's enjoy listening to great musicians rather than comparing them to each other. \m/

  • @Balintataw666 Wut bout Air by Jason Becker?

  • @lucpricha lol. your english.

  • @lucpricha eric johnson is way better..A lot of guitarists can shred as fast as malmsteen and faster. The point is to shred when it's necessary.Malmsteen's music is meaningless FOR ME..and the notes sound like farts.

  • @tsaggarucci well eric and yngwie play to way different styles, neoclassical is supposed to be shred but put into melodic phrases. eric plays rock. ill give you that yngwie can get out of hand some times but if you listen to his actual song recordings they are really good. he basically makes a couple main melodies and improvs around them live, and does a pretty damn good job at it too. eric is great, but i wouldnt say hes better. you cant really compare they are both masters at their own style

  • The people who criticise guitar players for being 'all speed' are generally the ones that cannot play guitar very well at all. Sorry, just saying it the way it is. Saying Yngwie has no skill or technique is so ignorant that I can only assume that a non-musician said it, that and someone with very, very little respect.

  • This guy is not one of my favourite guitar players by the way, not even close, although I do like his neo-classical style very much. Just can't stand reading/hearing people criticse the faster guitar players by people just desperate to find fault and feel better about their own lower levels of talent. People always seem to have to hate in order to inflate their egos. So sad.

  • @lucpricha Johnson can shred with the best of them when he chooses to. Whereas that's the only thing Yngwie can do.

  • I do not like blues, I love European melodies, so Yngwie and Blackmore for me - the best guitarists. Only an idiot would write that he has no technique.

  • @lucpricha, I have seen many great guitar players playing live. Satriani, vai and Malmsteen are all amazing. Many people have their opinion of who is the best out these guys. All these guys can play many styles and techniques, Eric Johnson is a Blues guitar player. So for you to say he is better, then i really think you need to start a band called the muppets, as you reall are being silly. Why not pick Michael Angelo Batio, or Nuno lol Then you would not look so silly.

  • @lucpricha oh by the way this is copywrited video. Flagged :) Enjoy the removal.

  • lol crt

  • @DancaM95 shut the hell up. he have a unique style. no one can play like him, he is over and over the other guitarrists in terms of tecnique. if u think what u learn in your fckin classes is tecnique, you suck man. the guitar are a part of his body. he can play all the styles that he want. he can play everything, not just because he plays guitar, his hearing are over the human level.

  • @lucpricha Funny how you get all butthurt because someone doenst like yngwie. If you cant take other people's opinions get off youtube. And yes yngwie is an unoriginal wanker. He can play the guitar but its all nonsensical speed. Put him next to someone like eric johnson and you'll see what i mean.

  • @GrenadeCatcher So you would prefer Hendrix over this guy?

  • @GrenadeCatcher explain how he is unoriginal, because he puts stuff in his music that is influenced off of his favorite classical composers? everyone does this with their music. like someone who plays alot of a certain bands songs will tend to make riffs like them but in their own style, just like what yngwie does. he definetly is original, you wont find a guitarist like him...

  • @Sk8ingGuitarplayer He plays whats known as wank. Its just speed mixed with classical variations that arent that brilliant. Listen to old paul gilbert, cacophony, jason becker and you'll see what im talking about.

  • @GrenadeCatcher but the thing that made yngwie stand out is that he brought a entire new style to the table, he is the master of neoclassical metal. im not saying "o hes the best ever!" but hes is a great guitarist and you really cant compare because all of these guitarists are amazing at what the do but in a different style. they all make their music in a different way.

  • @Sk8ingGuitarplayer The problem really lies in the fact that his style is just emotionless speed. I know a lot of people deny that but seriously listen to his runs they are devoid of any emotion and as a musician isnt the goal to play what you're feeling or PUT feeling into your music? Not everyone can play like vai ry cooder but if you put a kid in front of a scales book for 10 years you will just create another yngwie if you just focus on speed.

  • @GrenadeCatcher just because he is shredding doesnt mean he doesnt play with emotion, why does everyone say that. its not like shredders are just mindless zombies and think," i play guitar scale fast fast" and just shred, its another kind of a emotion that is a burning type with like a aggressive type feeling in you. you feel different emotions when your playing at different speeds.

  • @Sk8ingGuitarplayer I dont know why you go to such lengths to defend "shred". This really is something that impresses people that have played maybe 5 or 6 years. As your playing matures you'll see it for what it really is.

  • @GrenadeCatcher ya but hes not playing just to "impress" its his style of playing guitar. he is also a great song writer. have you ever listen to his song"brothers"? its a really cool emotional song. shred isnt to impress people, it is just a way of playing that also takes emotion.

  • @Sk8ingGuitarplayer Well it wont be my words that will you change your mindset it will be a matter of time. Get back to me after you've played around 15-20 years you'll understand what im talking about.

  • @GrenadeCatcher its not that i think you should make a song thats only shredding, im totally against that, im just trying to say that shredding has emotion too and is a great way to emphasize melodies with shred runs in between intervals. and yngwie doesnt only shred, thats all i have been trying to say.

  • @GrenadeCatcher yngwie defined an era and changed the guitar forever! i like johnson, but not even close dude. you sound a bit hypocritical!

  • @levrage71 He defined an era by playing classical music as fast as humanly possible? The comparison of EJ vs Yngwie was not one of talent it was about depth of music. EJ can play a verse thats simple yet emotional whereas yngwie just wants to play everything as fast as he can.

  • @lucpricha Uhm. Sorry, but Yngwie writes music for shit. He his fast, I'll give him that, and that's still an amazing feat, but he's not at all the greatest guitar player.

Here are some to look up:

    Tosin Abasi

    Andy McKee

    John Petrucci

    Guthrie Govan

    Just to name a few.

  • @lucpricha He is not above human in any category. Give me a break. The guy is not God. He is a great neo classical player and an influence on a lot of people. However, personally i think Shawn Lane was far above Malmsteen as a musician. Could play neo-classical like no one else and was also a master in fusion guitar, indian music, blues. Lane is the true master of the guitar in every style and he didn't look like a cartoon and drive a Lamborghini to make up for a small cock.

  • @lucpricha AMEN BROTHER!!! Ive loved this guy since I was 11 and Im 39.

  • @lucpricha you are arrogant and that is merely your opinion, but the way you wrote it was not unlike a fascist

  • @DancaM95 speed is his technic

  • @DancaM95

I love how you say that if you can't handle critique you should get of youtube, but yet your argument hiding under the "opinion" you posted is completely false and quite frankly, idiotic. Yes he plays fast 90% of the time, but claiming the man who practically invented an entire genre by himself has no technique is just retarded. Also, did i forget to mention the amount of technique needed to play this fast? And please explain why SO many legendary guitarists worship him?

  • @DancaM95 why dont you upload a video of yourself playing you moron !

  • @DancaM95 the fuck??

  • @DancaM95 Oh yeah. He totally just played twinkle twinkle little star at 9001 BPM

  • THE ENTIRE VIDEO ARE IN THE VIDEO RESPONSES! SORRY, BUT THIS VIDEO GOT CUTTED :)

  • man please post the entire video

  • The actual proof that he´s a Master is to be able to play with his pick over his own hairs and not screw up one single note, outstanding !

  • it's like he's changing pickups just for show, he does it completely randomly when it's not needed..

  • I`m a fan of Malmsteen and he makes most players look like beginners but Shawn Lane makes even Yngwie look like a beginner

  • Shawn Lane is a great player, but nobody ever speaks about Lane's style. To compare thos guitarists of allmost the same level it's too childish my friend.

  • tsuck norris<Yngwie Malmsteen

  • @stelbITZILEKIS who the fuck is tsuck norris??? Chuck Norris is going to blow your face with his chop suey sticks!!

  • stuck in the 80's...like knopfler...the same stuff over and over again...great playing, but need to hear him do something new..

  • @Coguito22 Those are your speakers, not Malmsten. ;)

  • O.o i donno u guys, but i cannot watch the entire video...this thing is so boring...0.1% melody and all useless stupid speed..i guess i'm going back to steve vai ..
