@MrFlabblegobble It's the civilian version. It's kinda like a sports car (plane). It has artistic lighting in the cockpit instead of the simple military low vis style in the Blackfish. Plus it has tons of repaints for both S-46A and S-46S models.
I also have SP2 but still shudders. To be honest with u it adds a bit of realism to it so don't worry. Could u make a stealth, military USAF/RAF version with missiles and a cool gimmicky thing like when missiles come out of body like on F22 Raptor. Would be AMAZING!!!!!!! Have u gt any other planes made fr FSX?

@MrFlabblegobble Hey! Thanks! Yeah I know about that problem, when I reinstalled FSX in my PC and it didn't have SP2 the plane shook a lot, but then I installed SP2 and it became stable.
@youdontknowxpand okay we are not talking about cars here, but i understand that not everyone loves something. personally, i would like this aircraft more if ;
1. it included afterburners
2. nose of the plane was lower and the back landing gear were wider making it easier to land
3. a more realistic but also still creative hud in the cockpit
however i am starting to like this aircraft more and more
@RVCAXD The plane has ethanol burners, it doesn't have the afterburner cone because the burning chambers are far inside the engine. About the landing gear, well, nothing bigger could fit inside the fuselage. I also wanted a larger wheel base, but it's a small plane. Actually the S-46 is a private sports jet. I only did this version because people said that if it had a tailhook it would be cooler. The Hud's problem is that it's more looks than function, though it's a fiesable system...
@RVCAXD Transparent LCD screen technology is available since the 80's. The touchscreen tech is already mass used so, there's no point in saying that the HUD isn't realistic. Actually, based on the plane's class (Private sports jet) the hud fits right in.
@RVCAXD - Would you like to install all needed software, SDKs', Learn each software aswell as learn to code all these gauges and animations etc? thought not! Do not bash someones "fictional" aircraft if you cant make a simple object to get in the sim!!
The diferences are: The FLIR system on the nose (that buldge with a bit of glass with all those dark screens in it), the refueling probe, the tailhook, the folding wings, new touchscreen HUD and more instruments in the cockpit for carrier ops, a retractable Magnetic Anomality detector probe (controled from the HUD), droppable drop tanks, bolt-on self-defence machine gun and the jammer pods.

By far best freeware plane fr FSX it's amazing. Only downfall is it shudders quite a bit when in air but other than tht amazing
