I have no problem with we top shot in story mode, most of the time you have to retreat a little bit when being attacked. Took me awhile to figure it out on the wolves, but you have to do the story mode to open up gallery levels.

So what would be the best way to have a hunting experience that is like this game? Do I just run into the forest screaming with my m4 and see what happens? Ture the gallery mode is ace and by itself more than most rail shooters give you, but the story mode is great and quite frankly easy to control at all times, theres a button that you press which guides the camara to where you should be going (lets you focus on the aiming). Also if your having problems with them coming up behind you while you aiming the other way (welcome to realism, real life you cant spin shoot everything down) then use a wall or rock to cover your own back.

I really want to like these Cabela's games because I love thier clothing, But I am not even a hunter in real life and it sure would be nice to have a realistic hunting game for us non hunters. I have way more fun shooting my pellet gun at cans in real life, then playing the Cabela's hunter game demos. I have got The Hunter on PC, but my PC is too oudated to play it. The Hunter is the way Cabela's games should have been.

The Move + nav controller works much better for campaign mode if you have the PS3 version and with the sharpshooter attachment its really fun. Top Shot Elite is still the best for gallery though.

I'll be honest with you, I agree wiht the controls part but this game kicks ass, If you are not one of those IGN nerds that bitch about every detail in a game and based on that decide not to play it, and are more of an open minded player who just wants to have fun I recommend this game, even in story mode I think it kicks ass and you feel all badass with that rifle clicking the A button for the hunter instinct, you can see hidden things if you look trough the top shot elites scope also I like it
