Hey man, i was the same way when i wanted to buy my 250 i didnt know much about it. I'm 5"11 and 195 and the 250 was fine for me, it can do at the very least 95 on the interstate, i've done 100 before. so 70-75 yeah it can definitely cruise at that speed. If you're a responsible rider i would tell you that you can start out with a 600 or the suzuki gxsf. I kept my 250 happily for a year then got a zx6r. but for learning the 250 is a GREAT bike to buy, it's not intimidating. hope that helps bro
I'm looking to start riding and I don't want to start out on a big to big. I've been looking at the Ninja 250R and Suzuki GS500F as a starter bike but I really like the look of the ninja better. Interstate 75 (Freeway from Michigan to Florida) goes right through my town so I was wondering if these can handle 70-75mph? And I'm 6'2 and 205lbs, Is this a good bike to start on? I'm not exactly sure how big the ninjas are so idk if I would fit on it. Thanks.
man im a little late jst pickd up my 250 about a week ago, looking into putting some upgrades on it within the next month. ima have a 07 gsxr muffler and the comp werks put in with the stupid crash kit jst in case. should b a sweet ride. i like how u went all natural on urs tho.

From what i can tell alot of people have these bikes so i guess just make it your own bro. enjoy ridin and make your bike custom. i had huge plans for mine but i've had it almost a while now and i changed my mind lol im gonna upgrade pretty soon i guess. i want a zx6 prob. Anyway.. tinted windscreen looks good on a 250.. pretty cheap mod. Good luck with your bike man. let me see the progress

i stay by wilshire district by vermont a few blocks from the 10 freeway. i rode out to simi valley a few days ago with a friend of mine. he got that gsxr1000 his shit b hauling ass bro.
No light man. the cops here arent very strict. when i decided to go with no light i was concerned with the subject but i did that like in may and now i just dont give a F lol
