  • Im doing an essay and Im supposed to prove she isnt human and dangerous. Any help? Thanks

  • She hated Harrison Ford and did not want to work with him.

  • @terrybrookman

Well, he couldn't stand her. Neither could anybody else. Apparently Sean Young isn't very easy to have around for any director, crew or cast that has ever worked alongside her.

She literally shot her own career down because she was (could still be) prone to questionable antics to land a role. Ask Tim Burton for starters.

  • The background music used here has never been officially released on disc by Vangelis, like so much other incidental score from his other movies. Hopefully someday with his permission, some film afficianado will put together a compilation album harvesting all those aural treasures we have come to love from listening to his film scores over the years.

  • @malcolmrobertlowrey1 the most complete edition you will probobly find is Blade Runner - Esper Edition - The Definitive Collectors Edition

A bit hard to track down though, but it's worth it if you're a huge fan of BR

  • does anyone kno wat track from OS is playing in the background?

    thanx

  • it´s too bad she won´t live, but then again, who does?

  • She. Is. Gorgeous.

As soon as she opened her mouth, I was in love..

  • Another stunningly beautiful scene from this wondeful movie.

Can Ridley Scott ever reach such heights again ?.............I truly hope so, but I fear the advent of CGI and 3D cameras will be a hindrance rather than a benefit

  • DO YOU LIKE THE OWL?

  • IT'S ARTIFICIAL?

  • God, I miss the 80's...

  • Rachael is a good name.

  • such a good movie.

  • She's The Woman.. No wonder I'm lesbian..

  • Her uncoiffed, permed hair is the hairstyle of the 80's. Straight hair is in today, not then.

  • Is it me or is this sliiightly sped up?

  • The most mesmerizing Ridley Scott scene ever- an evocative blending of beautiful cinematography, hypnotic lighting and sensual atmospheric music by Vangelis.

    A movie classic.

  • grrrrrr.... i have a crush on her.

  • Dont worry you clone one for yourself in the future!

    ^_^

  • "do you mind if I smoke"?

  • "It won't effect the test."

  • Sean Young had to be 22 when this was filmed if it was filmed in 81 then released in 82, either way shes 22-23-ish in BladeRunner , Sean Young is young in this, (no pun intended) but it is kinda of funny :D

  • @undergroundbasement was DUNE after this she looks so good in both those films.

  • Beautiful.

  • I love this movie. Sean Young was amazing. They couldn't have cast her better. You can see Sean Young in Signal Lost on my composer reel (on my YouTube channel).

  • She is very elegant and graceful. Natural beauty at it's best.

  • What are you referring to here when you say "natural beauty"?

What I see is a ton of makeup, hairspray, shoulder pads, etc, hiding her natural appearance, all as the director intended - it is symbolism.

  • must be expensive

  • very.

  • She is beautiful, well worth rescuing, even if you only got 4 years out of her, or whatever time was left.

  • no me acuerdo mucho de esta pelicula tenía 9 años, i don´t remember this movie, i was 9 years old.

  • When you understand what the movie is trying to tell you, then u wont find it boring.

  • I'm still trying to understand it...I think it's a cool movie for the early 80s though.

  • This movie means more than we can ever know! [f.c.]

  • It is but it's interesting. I was disappointed.

  • such a natural beauty she is

  • Notice how her haughty look changes noticeably when he says the word "Deckard". That my friends, is ace acting as far as i am concerned.

  • GZahos, amen.

  • @GZahos Ya. That's why I really like both Ridley Scott's and Kubrick's films. They emphasize things that other directors feel isn't important, such as the expression on one's face (such as in Th Shining), or the careful attention to dialogue.

  • god this is a beautiful scene - the music, the dialogue, Sean Young, everything

  • She is so beautiful!

  • Yes, You get my thumbs up there.

  • In the book, she says its NOT artificial hahah

  • in the book, really...not

  • That is a well-fit robot.

Not quite as sexy as the Russian Spy with fur coat in singing detective tho

  • My kitten from Boston!

  • my kitten from boston? u know me?

  • that would be you my love kitty

  • both are replicants

  • ofc

  • empire strikes back

  • 2nd greatest movie ever

  • If BladeRunner is 2nd what is 1st?

  • The book this movie was made from is every bit as entertaining as the movie. Go read Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by Philip K Dick.

  • Remember the books by harrison?

  • The book is awesome, but seems a lot different from this movie.

  • Yea the movie never is just like the book. I think they are both awesome. I think the book makes the movie better and the movie makes the book better. They both make me think, how do we work?

  • Best sf movie ever.....

  • Very very good movie the best ever...

  • My favorite scene in the movie. Amazing atmosphere and soundscape.

  • Bad encoding, Has lip flap!

  • con someone plz tell why is a risk thas he don't kill humans???

  • No, she tried to say that is a risk because he can do it by mistake. His position (his job) is a risk.

  • She's also trying to say that the Tyrell corperation might have him retire opponents of the company, least I think.

  • rachel es la joan crawford del futuro,no?

  • Sean Young rocks. A tantalizing beauty.

  • Sean Young

  • who's the actress?

  • They didn't like each other, apparently.

  • the best!

  • I've got the entire scene up.......cheers

  • Always loved this movie, Has that 40ish,asian look it. Lots of ceiling fans ,just like the 40's movies, lots of cigarette smoking, just like the 40's movies. even the way they dress in the movie has a 40ish look.

  • too short, wheres the lesbian jab??

  • I've got the entire scene up.......cheers

  • best escene ever. Perfect cadence and rithm.

  • excellent scene

  • yes, one of my favorites. sean young is stunning as the classic femme fatale. even deckard looks the part of a noir detective with his trenchcoat.

  • Sorry about the delay between audio and video. I found some troubles with the codec then.

  • A great scene from a great movie. Would be in my top 10 favorites.

Glad I could find some clips here.

  • She looks awesome. I was disappointed when she took it down and it was a freakin' 1981 perm! lol.

  • Yeah, I know what you mean, I thought it would be long and flowing. It wasn't that bad for a perm though.

  • gets better and better
