Mac is beyond better there's no comparison over Windows. Windows does not work especially for today's standards and networking.

@icoopers Oh my god! The operating system does not matter! I would take a MacBook Air over any laptop any day. Not because it is a Mac, but becuase I like the design and power. I think this Sony thing is an overpriced pile of garbage. If I bought a Mac, I would probably install Windows on it, and when I buy a Windows computer, if its an option, I install OS X on it.

OS X "works" and Windows "works". Neither one fails to accomplish its jobs unless an application is unable to run on it.

@gelot13 if u look in the middle of the keyboard u can see the round thing u just put ur finger on tht and basiclay put pressure on it in the direcction u want to go in its rly easy to use

I finally was able to mess with one in the store... first impression. Total trash. I'm a Sony owner and fan of many of their products, this is not one. It feels like a toy, not on in weight, but quality, very bad. Performance was more worse then I thought it would be.

Call it what you want, this is a cheap quality plastic netbook, Sony feels is a true pc and overcharges for.

Not even close.

Ya.. only if it wasn't running Vista... and took nealry 3mins to boot up. Not run full screen video with out crippling it self from video lag. MBA could boot up, check email, watch a youtube video, buy movie tickets and shutdown before this wanna be netbook boots up lol.

i got one. it has vista but google "microsoft Windows 7 beta" its the new os from microsoft, looks a bit different from vista but identical at the same time and it runs faster than an xp. they changed how the cpu reads the program. so ig you get this laptop download the beta and you got a pretty fast laptop for everyday activities. i recommend it at least with windows 7 on it

Great product Sony, to get vista into this type of device is some hard work, when dell only manage to put XP and Linux on their Dell Mini. Plus this device looks better than dells mini and this will have 3G Mobile broadband, seriously can't ask for more
