@imiritu Sailor, who is around Marines on a daily basis and who have personally told me that Generation Kill is an incredibly accurate account of the Iraqi war. When your radios are not working and you are in a kill zone (such as that scene) you do whatever you have to do to get people to move so the entire platoon isnt killed. Not to mention those militants and even the Republican Guard werent trained to shoot for shit, hence why people aren't getting shot in this scene.
