I would have more sympathy if the narrator was more objective and didn't use terror words. "They have their beaks cut off" is acceptable. "They have their beaks cut off...*suspenseful pause*...with hot knivessssss~" is not. "Hot knives" makes it sound worse, but it doesn't actually make it any worse.
Also his fucking tone of voice when he talks about genetic engineering really irked me.
its sad, right. the thing is -- humans pretty much need meat to be healthy. i dont have the time or energy to be a vegetarian. we should "invest" in finding more ethical ways to kill these animals so we can eat them with less guilt. as technology improves, im sure we continue to find better ways of "processing" these animals. eventually (next 50 years probably), we will just be able to grow synthetic meat in a vat without having to torture these poor animals :-)
@Svourdroculed if we eat enough vegetarian food we will live much healthier then meat eaters. It's prooved that vegetarians live longer than meat eaters.
It will not be better in 50 years. The animals lived much better for 50 years ago. It will only get worse, and soon people can't avoid the truth
@LisaDenEnda Could you point me to some research regarding vegetarians being more healthy? I am more inclined to believe that vegetarians are healthier because they are smarter, more conscientious people in general...not because they do not eat meat.

We used to raise the veal calves. The dairy producers called them "monkey calves". We did not veal them out (dad did not do that). We just fed them milk from a bottle until they were old enough for grain.... McD's I am sure got those also.
