Definately the best Bonkers album out of the series, I personally think that they went downhill after 13 or 14 - it went a bit to commercialised for my liking - Scott Brown is DEFINATELY the master of hardcore!! - "I Became Hardcore" one of his BEST tracks!! :-D :-D

100% agreed. I remember people back then saying hardcore was "dead", but I think it was most alive then. Without a crowd, the artists made what they wanted rather than what the crowd wanted, and so you get stuff like this with actual atmosphere. I hope some people decide to buck the generic cheesy/ electrocore nonsense, but I'm not hopeful :/

The thing then was it was at the bare bones - people who loved real hardcore music, not the cheesy rip-offs of pop tunes. The ravers understod the music and were more intelligent about it, and they appreciated the fact it was a bit more clever than the dross of 1997.

For a genre as heavy/hard as Harcore, being popular = being more accessible = being softer = selling out.

Sad but true - which is a major reason I don't go raving to Hardcore any longer (apart from my age, that is!)
