ok here's something that's been bugging me for a while. at the beginning of the movie, Cher's dad called Josh her Step brother. but in the middle of the movie, Cher keeps saying that Josh is her ex step brother. Which is it? i mean, do they both share the same dad?? I am so lost!!! thanks.

cher's dad married josh's mother when she already had josh and he already had cher because cher's mother was dead and josh's father was either dead or had left them (i don't remember). that makes cher and josh step siblings. then their parents divorce, but as josh didn't have a father cher's keeps saying josh is cher's step brother ( which he isn't anymore). cher "hates" josh so she says he is her ex step brother(which is the truth).
