From Nov 09 to March 2010, out of 19 council houses, allocated by Tralee council 11 went to immigrants. Many Irish people are on the housing waiting list, some waiting for 7yrs, and the houses are going to foreigners.

This at a time when Irish children in care are being moved around in different care homes and B&B's. Some of these kids have been abused and committed suicide - they would greatly benefit from a secure council house.
Agreed, excellent video this one. And yes, I know it was an eyesore but it was a bit sad. We've never known the Cape Town landscape without it. It's going to take a bit of getting used to, especially for people like me, who used to live right near them.
We stood next to the trigger in Pinelands, the guys were all like, "You should hear a siren then the demolition will... o wait 1, 2... boom!", seemed like everyone was taken by surprise including the mayor who had the pull the trigger.
Built in 1968.......... I was just 9 years old. Served its purpose well for 25 to 30 years. may the new shopping mall complex at this site do the same....
