  • where is this?

  • doesnt work with my glasses ffs

  • U sound like Olga Kay

  • lol it looks like a LSD trip.... XD

  • Is this 3D? HAHA

  • I prefer just going cross-eyed, but it does start to give me a headache after a while! It was a cool video though. It's too bad you didn't actually get in the water with the dolphins!

  • I liked it. The timing was off with the crab. So to do this you record with two cameras and put the right cameras footage on the left and vice versa?

  • The 3D was a small bit to far apart but i think was a good thing for this video! GREAT JOB on the 3D!

  • I like the video and you!

  • cross-eyed only works when quality is decent imo.

  • make more

  • my eyes hurt and is tired for looking in 3 freaking minutes!!!!!!!!

  • i dont get it, can someone explain me? crossing eyes as in focusing my nose but watching the screen?

  • haha, awesome video!

  • There were a few places where the anaglyphic process got 'jumbled' a bit, but for the greater percentage of the video, the 3D effect is really incredible!

Love those dolphins, seagulls and especially those funny little crabs!

    Great video! Keep them coming!

  • what beach was this?

  • whats the difference between the parallel and cross-eyed viewing options?

  • @alwayzAngry parallel you look beong the image... Cross eyed your right eye is looking and the left image and you left eye is looking at the right image ;)

  • how to save it so ou can see it later as 16:9 HD?

  • Comment removed

  • no your parents should be sued to create something as stupid as you -.-

  • When u view 3D cross-eyed, ur right eye is looking @ the left image & ur left eye is looking @ the right image. However, ur right eye can also see the right image in your peripheral vision, and ur left eye can see the left. If u block off the image u don't want each eye to see, by e.g. putting your hands up about 6 inches in front of your face, with the left hand just to the left of the left eye, and the right hand just to the right of the right eye, then the 3D effect is greatly improved.

  • Cool 3D, The crab was hard to focus on. But later I got it.

    Thanks Val.

  • mikma was here

  • awesome :)

  • Omagad !! SHARKS ! RUN FOR YA LIFE !!

    Lol, nice vid :)

  • Another great vid

  • Wow! Val, without the glasses, this video makes me want to puke! :P I hate associating you to puke. :(

  • I couldn't find where to make them on site... can someone give me a direct link?

  • I think I still got my 3-D glasses. But there the old ones' that give you a headache.

  • Val, you are the best!!! Remember to eat YOUR cookies!

  • Cool adventuring , that looks like tons of fun :>)

  • i love this idea~! i saw it with the glasses on and it was really fun to watch! There were a couple of scenes where the subject was too close to the camera and i couldn't get it to focus properly, but apart from that, the 3d effect was quite good! Val, thanks for this video! :D

  • I'm not sure the 3D was done correctly. Shouldn't the focal point appear normal while stuff in the foreground has blue on the right and red left, and the other way around for stuff in the background?

I'm not going to the store to get the materials for making 3D glasses, sorry. How do you make this with one camera? Two cameras are a pain in the ass, you need to center both on the focal point and if you change the focal point both cameras need to focus at the same time. It's a mess.

  • agreed

  • you are quite right , the crabs are rather fun to watch, cheers val

  • who wants to make 3D glases? regular vids because if your not wearing the glases the vid just looks out of wack.. only my opinion

  • I dont get it how do ppl make this? plus i feel i can almost kiss her lol

  • trippy very trippy... and I did not even have any 3-D glasses on.

  • Every week I hope to see Val paint...

Every week I want to see Val doing what she is great at...

    Every week I don't understand...

    Every week I am disappointed...

Every week I am one click away from unsubscribing to Val's videos...

    Every week I hope !

  • dude, she's on a holiday.

she needs to have a break from all those painting for awhile.

    and besides, she's entertaining.

    (:

    soo relax. haha.

  • She needs and deserves a break for sure and... this reality show she's building is probably pretty sweet for her close friends and family, but for the Val's Art lover like me, it is way out of interest, though I am a long time fan of Val !

  • haha. okies (:

well, we just need to wait until she paints again.

    hoping you'll wait for her!

    she's awesome.

    (:

  • freak

  • Freak ? I invite people to take a look at your YouTube profil (bulbulxp)and guess who's the freak in here !

There is always someone to get things wrong like you did. Read carefully my commentary about this video and you will notice that I am a Val's fan that loves her great Art.

I would really love Val herself to reply to my comments instead of freaks... like me !!

  • @ross685

I don't stalker anyone, nor am I fanatical wanting someone to make videos for me.

You're the one doing that, freak.

And my youtube profil has nothing to do with Valsartdiary or her videos.

  • Me too, but as I learned from people's comments on here - god forbid you write anything critical about Val or you'll get your face torn off! lol whatever what can you do? :)

  • Great idea Val to do this with 3d effect. The music borderline made me to Hula :-)) Very cool.

  • I'm going to be so envious of the man that marries you!

  • Nice 3D effect Val...it really works! how did u make that? absolutely would love to see more 3D videos from you.

  • so i didn't even make any glasses but i still watched this whole video.

for some reason i found it to be fascinating even though the image was half blue half red.

  • god it was really good!

love the effectssssss! they are so great,

    i use them all!

would love to call you valery, but if you want,

    love it. anniew.

  • Overall , pretty good. The first crab didn't work out though, I saw 2 crabs instead of one. The yellow kayak composition looked good. Oh, yeah, your smile-infectious-even more so in 3D. Good job.

  • SHARKS!

  • i view the cross eyed one and just use the technique found in the magic eye books.. the image becomes three with the middle one appearing in 3-D... ohh yeahh

  • WOW, instant headache, too much separation man.

  • You can click on 3D View style and just watch the right image only- that will it nice and smooth like a normal vid :)

  • had to comment again, the 3D IS AMAZAZING!!!!!

  • thanks so much!!!!

  • i knew i could put these Hannah montana 3D glasses to use in the future!!!! the sad part is u think im kidding ;D

  • no 3-D glasses I just watch left image only

  • Didn't watch it in 3D BUT I love the statue in the end! Awesome! Love ya Val! ; ] <3

  • More! I need the eye exercise.

  • AHA! I KNEW IT!

Dolphins, kayaking, water, stereoscopic 3D...and color tinted glasses.

    This is........

    ...La Vie en Rose :)

  • Didn't see the 3D View Style options under the video. Thanks for pointing it out Val.

  • I'll come back and watch this in 3D later, when I have the glasses.

I'm just impressed that you can do 3D on YouTube.

  • Found that the 'very close' shots were hard to see. like the crab going into it's hole.

Also the frame rate was very slow. like 4 frames per second.

might have to watch it in low res mode to see if it's easier to watch.

I may need to sit back 6 feet from my monitor to watch this.

  • ok,.. watched it again i low res. Defnitely, the very close up shots were painful.

The shots of objects over 4 feet away were easier to look at. Also, the video changes the colour of your skin.

It'd be good for showing travel through a crowd, or through traffic, but close up shots would need the cameras much closer together to avoid eyestrain.

  • I watched it left sided but I will try to make the glasses maybe and watch it again, but really it's totally watchable as is. Check out her blog tv channel. Val is so cool, she deserves way more viewers than what she has now.

Today we talked about how awesome dolphins are.

  • I loved the 3D, but it was a little hard to follow at times. I think the main problem was with the hand held stuff because of the way the camera tilted, so you might have to make it tripod only.

  • Comment removed

  • just pick the viewing style from the drop down box under the vid.

  • i dont get the 3D anymore i just get two of the same videos running side by side

  • Cross your eyes till they line up, it's 3d ish

  • The music goes perfectly with footage of the animals.

  • what cameras shot this? Its really jittery, but it does work in 3d.

  • Hm hm, I got my own 3D glasses luckily from my Sly Cooper 3 game, so I don't need to make them, thought it would be interesting.

I remember sandcrabs if that's what they are, I used to catch them on a school field trip at the beach, I got one of the biggest ones too.

  • that crab was cute <3

  • Hi Val,

great video - even though my eyes hurt a little bit, I am glad that I have seen you in 3d :)

    keep things going!

    lovely greetings from bavaria.

  • ahahaha I just crossed my eyes to watch this and it looked awesome...but now my eyes really hurt

I think I just did something very unhealthy

plus I was too busy concentrating on keeping my eyes crossed to pay attention to what was going on XD

  • you do realize by taking the sea shells you have robbed a little one of it's home :P

Glad you had a good time Val :)

  • Since I was born crossed eyed and they were straightened at birth I have a dominate eye. So I can't see 3D videos. But seeing the split screen and two of you was enough to make the video worth watching. ; =)

  • i have the same problem, except one of my eyes was lazy not cross eyed so my right eye is my dominant eye.

  • it doesnt work. i have my glasses on, i just got this yesterday after watching final destination.

    failll

  • This is just like Jaws 3-D!

  • I just put it on "left side only" and it still looks pretty good.

  • i couldnt find out how to make them on your website... :(

  • on the main page, right under the video there are 2 links:

    - HOW TO WATCH 3D VIDEOS - - HOW TO MAKE 3D VIDEOS -

  • wow!what a coool video!

i did use some 3d glasses(from Time-magzn, L-blue R-orange)it works with "Amber/blue option. its nowhere near perfect..but its a slight improvement..enough to let me feel some depth..definitely need better glasses though

i liked the bird & the crab shots..so cute and funny! but effectswise: everything after 2:45 .. u can really sense the depth between the hands & face, between the trees & the sculpture ( i think ..its the best shot ) & the end credits too ..

    thanks :)

  • outdated 3d technology, psh. I don't have any of the supplies to make the glasses so it just looks funny to me :(

  • i appreciate the effort you put into it but i like the regular videos better.. :) still pretty cool tho..

  • it works if you cross your eyes till the two sides of the video meet in the middle hahahaha

  • Worked at some parts for me using my cheap 3D Glasses I got at Ruby's.

  • I love the 3D video :o)

I use the Parallel view so I can just relax my eyes and see the 3D. I'm going canoing tomorrow!

  • I use the cross eyed version but I have to say, for the length of these videos I might consider 3D glasses since it almost gave me a headache near the end :D Liked it very much though :)

  • Cool Val, what an awesome idea! :)

  • How do you guys like the video? Is the 3D working for you? Which ones are you favorite shots?

  • No 3D glasses here, but I enjoyed it anyway. I'll have to get/make some glasses and get back to you.

  • I occasionally look at 3d images using the cross-eyed method, but doing that with your video gave me googly eyes, lol. Some parts worked great, other parts seemed to require some extra attention, especially during the ore flapping.

  • i have the 3d glasses i got when i saw Up, would those work on any of these?

  • no.

  • noo, the pixar ones won't work

  • no they use polarization

  • I didn't see 3-D instuctions but if i had the money. I would buy,--( Turn tt Around )

  • Ditto

  • Awesome video Val!

I think the 3D is kinda pointless and just gives me a headache, but its cool that you tried it out.

  • Can't find 3D info on your site.

  • now i just need some 3D glasses! lol

  • as soon as i get some 3D glasses make more of these HAHA awesome

  • Val, that was Sooo cool.

  • I like the 3D video =D

  • looks like you had an awesome time :D If you go to the beach again you should buy a water proof camera so you can film the dolphins underwater, that would have been cool :D

  • Hello,Val. Of course you picked the yellow kayak. It wouldn't be art if you didn't

Love the video, great concept. I am glad the dolphins don't think humans taste good,or they would soon start flipping the kayaks into the water for a quick snack.

  • this was sweet!

  • Wow, amazing.

  • This is amazing! What beach was this at?

  • i fixed them by colouring them in and it was awesome!!!

    i loved it val!

  • convenient that I had some 3D glasses close by from my Coraline DvD =p

  • i got 3d glasses from a movie i went to but they dont work..

  • cool.

  • Made me smile. :)

  • cute!

  • he he

  • damit i really wish i had 3d glasses right now lol

  • i do, but it does not work

  • awesome :D

  • thats cute
