I had this game maybe 5 years ago so I was 10 or 11. I sucked at RPGs then and always ran from most battles. When I got to the final boss of this game I just couldn't do it because I was really underleveled.

I don't know what you mean anyway. Wii games clearly don't emphasize graphics, and most good games I know of on other consoles still have decent music. Please give me some examples of boring music in modern day games though, cause I don't get it.

@JonnyJinx04 these game by which I meant were this generation games. There is so much focus on graphics that degrades other elements of the game. A common example would be Resident Evil 5. The resident evil series have been known for their eeriness and horror survival series, with the exception of Resident Evil 4. Resident Evil 5 however really blew of course with its story. In the beginning, it was all about building bio-weapons and gain global control.

@JonnyJinx04 however it landed on "evolution", which is pretty redundant considering a good amount of games talking about "evolution". Its horror level was ridiculously low, which makes it re-categorize RE5 as an +17 adventure game more than a survival horror, considering the evidence. The music was really great for setting the scene, and the main thing was pretty much the graphics, it always comes down to graphics.

Well, to be honest, I was never a big RE fan. But I thought that the main reason fans didn't like 4 and 5 much was cause it deviated so sharply from the originals and became something it didn't used to be, not because they put too much emphasis on the graphics and ignored music/gameplay.

Which is understandable of course. If I was a big RE fan before playing RE4, I'd probably feel a bit cheated too. :P

@spartahog well thats only some games, it depends i guess :/ super paper mario was fairly recent and that was awesome. on the other hand, i have almost NO respect AT ALL for Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2! and dont even get me started on New Super Mario Bros. and New Super Mario Bros. Wii O_O THAT WAS DISGUSTING! UGH! but ya it depends on the game. Perfect Dark Gaia and Aurora Unit 313 were good, its not so much the music that gets bad, its when they try to make stuff better

@spartahog im not saying Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Sonic Unleashed were bad tho. im talking about stuff like the sequel to (i thinkg its called) Blue Ocean. the first game was AWESOME! :D! well except for the curse and ghost ship and White Mother (that whale thing). but in the SEQUEL. IHFMUILHFIBFJILSB THAT WAS HORRIBLE! they tried to make it take place around the world, and with weird different equipment and with ur own island but it was just bad. like the DSi is SO much worse than the ds
