Nope. The voice comes with the software, so there's no turning it off.
And I don't know why it says "Touch my head sensor" instead of "Pet me". The software was released before the Sony people took the time to finish and edit it, so it's not really...y'know. Revised or whatever.
Very VERY cute! However the voice seems very repetive and seems to get annoying.
