Thank you for providing this video. Based on what I was initially finding I was almost convinced I was going to have to completely disassemble my laptop but your video showed me the much easier method that doesn't include separating the display panel from the base. I was nervous about getting an LCD connection compatible with my laptop; however, the backside of the replacement LCD has two connection ports-one on the left side & one on the right side--so it's compatible to either designs.

Any idea where I get the screen for pretty cheap? I have dv7-3162NR but it looks exactly same as the 3173nr. Not sure what the difference would be for replacing the screen.
