  • I'm sorry that this is Turkish coffee. Baklava (μπακλαβάς) is also belongs to Turks. After Greek military junta of 1967–1974 (Χούντα των Συνταγματαρχών) the name was widely used as Greek coffee.

  • @kitsos00101 greekis smoother as my familey says and turkish is way to bitter

  • Since the Turks say that all the Greek and Babylonian ruins in their territory are their own heritage, stealing coffee is not really a big deal. Right?

  • It s nice to see that greeks are drinking Turkish coffee

  • @dzenangojak

It is also nice to see that the Turks are living on Greek lands and eating Greek foods. hmm

  • diffrence is turkish coffie has dogs inside

  • And this is how 1000 years of Turkish Coffee became a Greek Coffee COME ON MATES !!!!! HAHHAHAHAHA

  • you mean turkish coffee

  • fuck the turgays!!!

  • It is not delicous I m sure. Because it must be heated in low fire If you cook it in high fire you can't have well foam.

I said Turkish coffee which is the same with greeks:P

  • hey Turkish people i have a question. Do u heat the coffee on high temp fast way or on low slow way? I preffer the second

  • enough of debating who the coffee belongs to. Coffee cameabout in Constantinople (today Istanbul) maybe a Turk did it first, maybe a Greek maybe even an Armenian or Jew made it first. We dont know. We do know that ALL the people in the city drank that same style of coffee and it spread to ALL our cultures. Its Coffee from the Ottoman period. Doesnt belong to any one ethnic group, coffee is simply made that way in that part of the world

  • Dear Sotiriai, you make it total false. I m sure your coffee is terrible. you have to boil it in law fire. Take the first foam to cup before boilnig then let it for second times boiling. I told you Turkish style

  • Sotiriai - why did you delete my other comments. Can't you handle the truth?

  • This is terrible. what kind coffee is it. This coffee must be not in high burner boilt. Also law burner it the best and you have to put the first just the foam then let the coffee again for second boilt. after second boilt you can serve it! Come to Turkey and learn how could be cook Turkish coffee :)I can cook for you :)

  • You are right, edekoy, that's exactly how this kind of coffee is supposed to be made. And that's how all the Greeks I know, including myself, actually make it. Hopefully there're other, more accurate vids on youtube on this...

  • since i am a Greek myself i can say that this is how the good coffee is made. But the best way to make good Greek coffee is to take the briki and half burry it in a "plate" with sand and then heat the sand to a high temp....

  • It's intersting that you took such a interest in my video, its my guess that you don't have anything else to do in life, so you take pleasure in criticizing Greek Culture. What you really don't understand is that Greece and Turkey have swapped various traditions for centuries, both having invaded eachother at one time or another. We should embrace this closeness instead of critizicing it, as you have taken so much of your time to do.

  • Actually i got alot of things to do in my life. Yeah we do share similarities, but i hate greek ppl for taking the credict. But u still suck at making an decent cup of coffee.

  • come on, some things vary from person to person. I bet you that no two Turkish/Greek people make coffee the same way. It doesn't really matter what you call it, "Greek Coffee" or "Turkish Coffee", it's the same material! Please calm down. Greeks got it from the Ottomans, so you can take some pride in the fact that the Greeks did not actually invent that type of brewing technique.

  • this specific part of culture you are talking about is not a part of greek culture. it is turkish culture. the world knows it as turkish coffee. why claim it as greek culture instead of so-called embracing this closeness? go and play with your philosophers in the sand but stay away from our coffee.

  • @murtiizzet We will gladly do that after you give back all the land that belonged to us for well over 1000 years. Constantinople was Greek for a longer time than it has been Turkish, even to this day.

  • it's a turkish/ottoman coffee.

  • Thanks for posting this. What to do if briki is very small in circumference, and ring of fire is too large? I have this problem , I can make the fire smaller but then heat is too low! Frustrating.

  • It's nice to have people abroad "promote" the "Greek ways"... Nice, sotiriai!
