I think a refusal from BGT is a blessing in disguise. I believe (as a musician and a person with ears), you're in a different class. Shows like xfactor and bgt are all well and good, but lets not fool ourselves. It's a machine to get tv ratings and to find the next money maker. I have a feeling you may regard yourself as worth more, and so you should. I understand everyone's gotta eat, but let's not forget that music is art, "the soul of society" and do we want to sell our soul? Keep it up dude!

If anything that'll ruin your career. Only about 3/10 people come out of those things successfully, all they're known as is "the winner of that show".
