@ninjamasterbro then once you have made the video you want put it in movie maker and save the file through movie maker. Movie maker will shrink the file to reasonable size

@Mangster29 Yes that worked but im using windows live movie maker since I have Window 7 Ultimate and I got Left 4 dead 2 Video done just now thanks for your help but I need to edit typing WHILE im playing the video and I kinda suck at it :( I need to type in white while video is playing what do I select please help im almost done the editing I JUST need to type writing in white but don't know how? Any ideas will be helpful please.

@ninjamasterbro put your video in then in the home tab click caption and then you can write anything you want over the video by just clicking the on the place where it says "enter text here" and replace that with w/e you wanted to write.

@ninjamasterbro ok when you put on half size it cuts res in half so what you got to do is put on full size and run game in HD...but if you have a slow processor then frame rates will be lowered which makes it laggy. So you have to have a really good computer. Also make sure when you save the file make sure you choose save as HD in windows movie maker. You can do this by going to file then put your cursor on save then choose save as high definition. This will make youtube have the hd option...

i can't delete the bigger video file after shrinking the size. It says "It is currently open with another program please close it first". I do that but it still says that when i try to delete it. Wat do i do?

@StupidParrotTV since you cant find program it is open log off or restart your computer then try deleting.

@sonicfan289 make sure you are looking at the right file the normal file will still be there but there will be another file that is the shrinked one.(it will be wherever you saved it)

Yes, this method works. Could you assist me with the audio. Video records ok, but I've got no audio. I'm using XP. In my audio menu, for sound playback, my default device is HD Audio Render & for Sound Recording HD Audio Capture & HD Audio Front Mic. I've tried all, nothing is working. Do I need to download something else? Please reply. Cheers.

Well, it did not say "save movie" file and it did not give me any other options, but when I uploaded it here, it only took a split SECOND and it said "success" yet for some reason it never processed.

i think it doesn't process is it is way to big of a file. it should say save movie file under file.

Ok I recorded Team Fortress 2 with Xfire and i edited it with windows movie maker than exported it, but when i tried to play it didnt work.

to save as a movie file you go to file then go to save movie file.(also the shortcut is crtl+p)
