I was die hard fan in the 80's/early 90's... I always thought this was by far the weakest REM album pre 1993. I am surprised to see so many people say it was their favorite!
@ivorbigonee: It appears to me that these songs are a half step up in pitch. Whatever device was used to upload these tracks seems to have played them faster than what the original speed is.
