There were issues with the De Menezes shooting; several armed offciers followed him from his house making no attempt to challenge and arrest him even though he got on a bus while they thought he had a bomb. These same armed officers followed him onto the train and sat down, waiting for more heavily armed backup to arrive. Once backup arrived, the officers tackled him without warning and then, once he was restrained, the officers opened fire and he was shot a total of 7 times in the head.

Look, the police are paid to live or die as a duty as you describe, they are there to help protect and provide security to its residing country it lies in. They shot him as ordered because of concerns for the security of the country. It was bad communication and the tensions of the suspect being possibly a bomber that ended his life. The police did face an inquiry at court but it was thrown out because it was not the direct officers fault. Get a grip and calm down.

He would not allow any criticism of the pigs, he was biased entirely in the pigs, and he would not allow the jury to reach any verdict they wished. He, the corrupt judge, would not allow the jury to return a verdict of unlawful killing.
So get a grip and demand a proper inquiry into the murder of Jean Charles de Menezes. So far the murdering filth have got away with it.

While I agree with you, in that he did not run and the police had no reason to shoot him, you must realize that the officer who shot him, had never shot a person in anger, and tensions were VERY high after the events of that day, and so while I don't condone the shooting I ask you to try to loo at it from both sides.

There were issues with the De Menezes shooting; several armed offciers followed him from his house making no attempt to challenge and arrest him even though he got on a bus while they thought he had a bomb. These same armed officers followed him onto the train and sat down, waiting for more heavily armed backup to arrive. Once backup arrived, the officers tackled him without warning and then, once he was restrained, the officers opened fire and he was shot a total of 7 times in the head.

its because lith... CO19 has the same training to get in as they get every 3 months on most areas... Firearms and strategic training is done very regularly and if you fail to pass, you are then relieved from CO19 back to an appropriate field. In the SAS, generally once your in, your in.
The SAS are far better trained... and trained for much more... not just firearms.

Yes, their are two different laws, I dont think you will find it is legal for vigilanties, to stop and shoot subjects with their '.22's', where it will however be legal for armed police to do it.
