  • Farabi and Ghazali were Persian, not Arab

  • well the truth is

Arab Muslims were not inventors of something new.. the only they could do is to adopt wisdom and knowledge from ancient Greeks and also from Byzantine Greeks ... Arab caliphs beg Byzantine Greeks for translated books of ancient Greek science...

In Mohamed campaigns Muslims were victorious all over their battles except in the Battle of Mu'tah where Mohammad troops were defeated by Byzantine Greeks and 3 of his companion were killed.

  • @Athlon2010 hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh lol what a nice point to talk about ??? do heard about the math(aljebra) the its totaly belong to ARAB to let you know arab as a nation exist before Greeks or Persian have you heared about: 1-ibn al-Haytham 2-Muhammad ibn Zakariya al-Razi 3-Abbas Ibn Firnas i can list 100's of ARAB Inventors. everyone knows that persians and greeks had their development in humans knowledge but dont forgets arab and turks.
  • @ewkfdbejwfb

Turks ? Turks were specialist on how to give the most insane and painful death to their prisoners. Turks knew how to execute their victims on impalement... they could stick a pillar from the ass of their victim and export it out the mouth. The victim waited for its death for almost a whole day. As for Arabs, you were quite wiser in "islamic golden age" and storage knowledge from Indian, Persians and Greeks. But i as i said Arabs used to copy more than investigating something new .

  • @Athlon2010

am not talking about turks in the ottoman times but during the Islam golden age there are a numbers of turks who invent and develop our knowledge(from Uzbekistan & Kazakhstan ).

as ARAB its well known that we keep all our history save and you can in check this story when the the King Second Gorge of England send his daughter with students to study from the most advanced Euoropian country at that time which is Andalusia dont tell me Andalusia take their knowledge from India& Greek.

  • @ewkfdbejwfb

I do not deny that during golden age of Islam Muslim scientists had not their investigations them selfs. But most of the knowledge Muslims had back these times, it was copied. Arabs use to storage knowledge from other nations more rather investigating something new them selfs. I do not about Andalusia, but i am telling you Arabs were only copy and only copy

  • @Athlon2010

    lol

i will just remind you of the fact that Byzantine army on the battle of Mu'tah as we Arab called it almost 70% of the soldiers were Arab (Syrian and iraqi Christians) plus the fact Muslims have lose the battle but we finish it the way we want >>>

its better to read why Mu'tah battle happend then you will know that my information is the truth.

anyway have a nice day bro its all the past.

  • @ewkfdbejwfb

    have a great weekend

  • Lol this movie is wrong as hell.

Ancient greeks influenced the world more then islam did!

Scroll down on this page wwwDOTenDOTwikipediaDOTorg/wiki/Hippocratic_Corpus

And u can see a list of encyclopedias which had been translated before phophet muhammed was even born.

Muhammed did not prophecise but just copied most his stuff from ancient Greek literature.

  • @SilveradoNL Where do you got that Muhammad copied from ancient Greek??? He didn't even know how to read and write.

  • relax everyone, this is probably just a simple high school history assignment that this little girl decided to put up on you tube. we all know its not credible and totally biased. cut the poor teen aged girl some slack.

  • sorry .... but this video is bias and is definitely in need of review and to be exposed to righteous truth!

  • in which ancient greek fail to proper. Islam still exist till today.

  • ghazali was an arab and he denounced all greek philosophy??

a little reading is in order

  • Actually it was an antagonism between Cordoba Cairo Baghdad Persia !

The political diferences bertween the Factions that emerged after the split of the Abbasid Caliphate had influenced the The Scholars !

  • I am falggin this orientalist propaganda video and I call on everyone to do the same.

  • I have done it also

  • I should like to say the following:

    - This is a deliberate attempt to discredit Islam and its legacy in the history of human thought; its motives, though unknown to me, are suspect and deplorable.

    - This video OVERLOOKS and deliberately LEAVES OUT the other great center of Muslim Civilisation, Spain (Al Andalus).

    - It does not mention philosophers such as Averroes, Avicenna, and others, who revered the Greek philosophers.

  • - It does not mention IBN KHALDUN, who said: The whole of Islam, except the Faith, derives from the Greeks. Betrayal by Muslims against the Greeks equals betrayal against their very own.

Finally, besides the omission of AlAndalus, it does not give the Muslim world the credit of giving the Greek philosophers a fair hearing, if indeed the verdict was as stated above, which I doubt, as I have never heard it before.

Finally, the images of Greek philosophers portrayed as corpses are macabre.

  • This video is to discriminate muslllimm who enlighten all of humanity and made many civilization , which many nonmuslim should credit ISLAM no really God who reveal this DEEN(way of life)

  • i agree also i heard muslim scientist work oether with spain , & Aristotle learned from them , even he learned from muslim tht men should have hair.

  • Thank you for that lol but Aristotle could not possibly have learnt from Muslim scientists as he was an ancient Greek and lived long before the founding of Islam.

  • u r making such a bad propaganda...u r writing messages over the heads of greek philosophers?u must have a big problem in ur head!!so if u envy the greeks in such a level it means they have smtng better than u....u r sick i think!!!

  • yeah but it managed to leak out in Europe particularly in Italy it was brought there by the Byzantine Humanists who fled Constantinople after the Turkish invasion of 1453. For centuries it was stored in the Byzantine Empire and was shared not just in the west but particularly in Arabia!!! The problem was that Arabia cared more than the West did and so the works of Averoes and Avicenna came 2 being so ur partially correct but not entirely

  • The Ancient Greeks have nothing to do with Western Europeans. According to them, Western and Northern Europeans were Barbarians, uncivilized. The Ancient Greeks lived in the same, civilized world as the Egyptians, Punics and Persians. Ofcourse they fought each other, but they still considered one andother civilized. Theres a reason why the Ancient Germanic tribes where called Barbarians. Point of my post is that the Greek Civ was much more a Eastern Civilization than a Western one.

  • Renaissance Europe, Europe during Enlightenment and secular West of modernity has it's roots in Greek-Roman Antique or the Classical Civilization. Muslim civilization had a lucid interval only as an eco of Hellenic past but Islamic fundamentalism prevailed over the Hellenic freethought and easterners sank back into their natural state of religious mysticism that is typical for the easterners since the time of Zoroaster, Xerxes or Abraham (if he ever existed).

  • ooo yah? is that why the founder father of secular thoughts IBN RUSHID who was a Muslim...google him and stop talkin shit mayne

  • you are so wrong! i am a greek so ican understand ancient greek. ancient greeks considered barbarians those who didnt speak greek ! romans and egyptians were babrbarians. but you dont know that also egyptians considered barbarians those who werent egyptians.

ancient greece were different from western europians and from eastewrn civilisations!

  • Muslims rewrite the history with lies. Incredible. They use everything for their religion cause. I am constrained for them. A lot of complex.

  • Islam brought the first Garden, artitechture like palace, palace with cements.

  • u r way wrong my friend!and islam is a religion!!!dont mix apples with tomatos!as for concrete..architecture etc...go long time before christ was born...and see some monuments!!ainte!

  • Muslims never deny this however Europe was in dark ages muslims came and saved and gave modern rannaisance. Greeks Civilization existed for centuries Islam exist only for a short while and look how fast they developed sciences.

  • yeah they only had the foundation work of the Romans available to them.... lol

  • yaa and foundation of romans is egyptian and babylonian. Now its the same egyptian and babylonian (iraqis) but being Muslim this time.

  • without the greeks and their ancient philosophies u wudnt have these so called philosophers in the first place. muslims are so fucking arrogant piss off christians are smarter ur all bunch of imitaters :P

  • r u sure about that?? Because both Christians and Muslim ha the chance to collect ancient philosophy of greek and egyptian. Early Muslim Arabs chose to un cover it while christian chose to burn it. The pope executed any body who seked knowledge while Muslim commaned everybody to read!! Who is smarterow?

  • lol, the problem is that the Greeks existed because of the Arabs or what ever the were referred to, because the name Arabs was given to them after the Arabic language was in use. for example; the egyptians call themselves Arabs, but they were pharaohs

  • the info presented in this video is riddled with serious inaccuracies and serious prejudice. It is not true that Arab and Muslim philosophers were interested in Greek philosophy only to refute it and defend their religion. An even cursory acquaintance with that tradition suffices to disprove such misguided nonsense. Ibn Rushd (Averroes) for instance, did not take this position, nor did many other Muslim philosophers.

So, please, don't spread ignorance for ignominious political purposes.

  • " Ibn Rushd (Averroes) for instance, did not take this position, nor did many other Muslim philosophers."

Averroes said analytical thinking was a prerequisite to interpreting the Qur'an. This was in conflict to Islamic thought, where the emphasis was less on analytical thinking and more on recollection of the hadith.

Averroes' rationalist and secularist views collided with rigid orthodox Islamic views and he was banished. He devoted the rest of his life to philosophy.

  • nohe was banished by the Pope and anybody who read his words

  • These all are conclusions, where is the argument and proof.

    Get a life, stop hating.

  • Al Farabi was not an Arab, he was from Turkestan.

  • This is total nonsense. The producer of this overly simplisitic summary of Islamic philosophy reduced the ancient Greek philosophers down to mere rationalists; much like modern Western "philosophers". Nothing is mentioned of the explosion of Philosophy in Persia, Mulla Sadra, Suhrawardi, and many others... Its amazing that people can make videos and purport to teach something when they've not studied the thing in any detail. This film was made to simply denigrate the religion.

  • ok is this vid made to insult islam?

  • I WAN'T MORE, iamthewitness. k o m
