This machine looks like it is built to perform a number of jobs, one of which is high rise building rescue missions. The URBAN Aeronautics X-Hawk is designed to do a similar job.
looks like a merge between the Syncropter and the boieing chinook. what is the advantage of the syncropter part? seem to me that it is wasting about 10% of the power acting horizantally!

Chinook starts to tilt and spin as load changes
(because it's blades are at different height),
however syncrocopters like K-MAX don't.
Add tandem layout and you have double the lift capabilities.
