I have a problem, wish you could help me. The thing is that i've been trying to stablish my own index.html in the first page of webs, but I just don't know how to do that. So I've designed a whole site but it doesn't show cuz the first page that appears is the template... PLEASE HELP!
I'm trying to upload an HTML page (containing photos) from my pc to my account in webs.com, but i can't see the photo when i view the page! Although i uploaded the page into the "images" folder in my website using "upload single file" order.
@uattutorial i was wondering if you knew how to check users passwords. One of the members of my websites forgot his pass word and i dont no how to change his password or check what his password is so he can get his account back.
I already made an account in webs.com, and i built my own HTML webpage, but every time i try to upload via "upload single file" i get this message:

Worst site creator ever. Good wallpapers = yes, easy to move around = yes. But extremely slow, always having bugs due to being a free member and is no more than the biggest, SLOWEST pig I've ever seen. Webs = Fail.
After you click on 'publish' it'll come up a little window. Just press the 'x' in the corner. It'll show up an error message but still save it. Please press thumbs up so everybody can see it!
The webpage doesn't have to end with .webs.com, right? But, if it does, then its entirely free? It's only when I purchase my own domain that the site costs $, correct? If I want the site to be available to everyone online, do I have to purchase my own domain, or can I keep the webs.com part and achieve the same thing? Sorry, I'm new at this :) I want to make a site for my art, and I want it to be available to everyone. This requires a purchased domain name, right? or can I use .webs.com?

But if it's .webs.com people can still see it. But it's not professional and it says at the bottom of each page .webs.com. and in small text under it it says make a free website. If you want to send adds to Google and all to get it out there. Then you can go that to. BUT saying that it isn't like you'r add will be on any websites.

Or in a small news website with the add hidden in a word. Witch means it will be a word on the websites page highlighted blue. And if you click on it it will take you to you'r website. Now if you want to have a website with a .com for free then use html or adobe Dreamweaver. And you have no limits, because you made it.

If you want to make you'r own website with a .com for freee and you do not want to use webs.com. Then you can use a simple based programcalledAdobeDreamWeaver. The choice is you'rs. But I will say if you know nothing about code or websites. Then you may not want to use it. If you do then look up some dreamweaver tutorials.

i think that webs.com is probably the best website maker, when you make a free account, they only ever put one ad on the site, when a lot of other sites put millions of them

@TheDailyMine it depends on which website layout you are using. if you have photoshop, you can do waht I do. Take a Screenshot of the default banner, cut it out in photoshop, copy it, make a new document, and the document size should be what the banner is. KTHXL8
