  • Honestly, what was McDonalds thinking?

  • The thickburgers are pre-cooked, frozen and shipped to each restaurant. Once ordered, the burger is then warmed up in a charbroiler. Just incase you thought you were getting something fresh.

  • @joem3030 so is the mcdonald's burgers and everything else you order to be cooked.

  • Mcdonalds sucks and Hardees rules.

  • In the Carl's Jr. version, he said the grills cost the same, but in this Hardee's version, he said they are more expensive. That's confusing. Also in the Carl's Jr. version, Andy ask if McDonald's angus burgers are a half a pound like the Thickburgers, while the other guy said they're not.

  • Okay guys, a "Big Hardee"? Definitely won't catch me ordering that. Hate to see the name of the nuggets.

  • Yeah, I am not a big fan of that type of burger. The original was the Big Boy, then the Big Mac and now the big Hardee. I will stick with the thickburger myself. :-)

  • Hardee's and Carl's Jr were originally two separate restaurants. Hardees was in the eastern US and Carl's Jr in the western US.

They have since merged and they are essentially the same restaurant now with different names.

If they put a Carls Jr in around here no one would know what it was and Hardees has a lot of brand loyalty.

  • well they have some different items like the big hardee is different that the vig car in structure. theres no of these in nj.

  • whats with the hardees and carl's jr. ?

    i dont get it

  • they're the same company but they are found in different places
