  • I can't but agree 300% with all the peeps before me on here... everything Kev does has got that special real raw but musical touch that sets him apart from most other cats... but the Stevie Wonder joint is SICK! Man, he should release that ish and get some big ass house DJ money for that, I'd have that going 'round all day every day!

  • That Stevie wonder shyt is ill...but yo...what kinda film r he usin'? If anybody kno I cud really use tha advice...thanx...

  • #LAZERS - That "Ahhh... Babay!" Beat Is Insane

  • I got that same mixer.

  • Ehh...not my type of beats really, but to save the stupid cliche jokes for comments to come, I will not hit the dislike button. I definetly respect dudes chopping skills though. That Stevie Wonder was cut pretty solid.

  • Kev got me amped. Glad to see my man finally getting some much deserved exposure. Such a humble cat too. Its funny seeing him enjoy his own tracks. Btw, that first track... OMFG. All was tight though. Just more of what we have come to expect from KB though. Classic Joints. Keep em coming bruh.

    Peace...Netm8kr

  • I'm glad to see Kev back as well, one of my top favorite producers. Still slept on by too many IMHO!! Good to see new footage of Kev doing his thing!! His style seemed the same, but the chops may be even smaller than I've heard from him before, lol. Seems like he's going through that phase Pete Rock did when he sampled just a lot of sounds & put them joints together to make classics!! Great stuff Kev, stay up & God bless!! You're a big inspiration!!

  • Kev needa quit playing and put those FAT pads on the MP!!! Dope video though. Hes always been in my opinion THE best producer with basslines and just soul period

  • Enjoyed the vid, but is he okay? He looks like he's seen much better days.

  • @moodmusik judging by the dutch rappers i see on the table, i'd say he's hella blunted.

  • @moodmusik I think the Grape Dutchies have something to do with that.

  • Kragenoff

  • dope, great to see kev brown in action

  • Dope Vid !!

Kev brown is in my Top 5 Producers All Time

  • 7:15 good shit!

  • I have followed Kev Brown for a long time, He should be so much bigger than he is. He is in the line of DIlla and Nottz!

  • nice work !

  • finally somethin with Kev!

  • 07:00 Dope

  • Kragenoff

  • this dude Kev Brown is one my fav producers! Shout out to Low Budget, always keeping it gravy, but maaaan, I'm still waiting for that vid of Kev Brown just doing basslines, his basslines are just too sick! but I guess a magician gotta keep those secrets huh lol

  • @Palmar3s Kev had a vid or two out talking about his basslines. He said it's nothing special, just the bass sample & the 16 levels. Now he might layer them or something, but he seemed real humble about that being how he does them. He IS for sure the king of the basslines no doubt!!

  • @Palmar3s Also check out here on YT, "Kev Brown Say Sumthin/Lucifer (making of)". On this vid he explains the making of his basslines!!

  • @Sinosure

oh man thanx! just what I was looking for, and true true like he says, his basslines are so simple, he does it in such a simple way but yet it sounds so beast, that song Say Sumthin has like 4 notes, thats it, and it sounds so raw! I saw too the making of Always, always good stuff and nice explanations, thanx bro, much appreciated.

    watch this---> watch?v=JGyKQ17fPLE

    nice vid by Kev too.

  • @Palmar3s Hey, no problem bruh! We're both Kev Brown fans, lol! And if you're into beatmaking like me, ain't no harm in gaining knowledge to step your beat game up! Hold it down!
