  • I have the same cookie cutter

  • how did you make those chocolate cookies? Is it like a sugar cookie with cocoa powder added or is it a completely different animal?

  • Word of advice guys, def wear gloves. I dyed some fondant a few months ago and I had bright red hands for a good 4 days afterwards lol

  • someone else commented on the fact that there's no sound.. I checked before and after this and my system seems to work fine.. help..

  • omigosh, these are so adorable!!! ure so pro, thanks =)

  • Too bad I can't hear anything.

  • can you use liquid food colouring to dye the fondant?

  • @GerardWayRocksMySoks Yes, you can use food coloring to dye the fondant, just knead it into the dough. If it becomes sticky, knead it with some powdered sugar.

  • @preparedpantry thankyou!

  • I sometimes have time on my hands for baking it really depends what time i get home from work and stuff

  • well this is for people who have lots of time at home!

  • This is a fantastic video! I was confused as to how to use these materials and you put it very simply and fun. Thank you so much, now I feel prepared to give this a go! It's not often I comment positively on a video, but yours gets 2 thumbs up!

  • cakes taste better with frosting and they look better with frosting too

    fondant is gross,

  • Every brand of fondant tastes different from the next so some is better than others. Personally I don't mind the taste of fondant. You can take any brand of fondant and add bottled flavors to make it taste better if you would like.

  • this is a really good video it makes cooking really easy

  • Thank you!!

  • this really helps me in designing my baked goods....thank you for making such a wonderful video

  • thanks for the help!

im gonna do it on valentime's

  • Good! I hope everything works out for you! Good luck!

  • Thanks this seems useful. :) I'm going to try all sorts of designs. uhm, where can you buy fondant? And is it premade when you buy it?

  • wow,smart ideas!im so gonna try these

  • Thanks, it is a lot of fun!

  • thanks for your quick response...it's great to hear that I can freeze them without a problem!, also quick question: could I freeze cookies that have strawberry or apricot filling? and what about those ones with chocolate drizzling on top? and those that are made with sour cream? is the fridge ok too? THANKS A LOT!!!

  • I wouldn't out them in the frige because that has a tendency to make them stale faster, and your fillings should be ok, but we haven't tried that so i cant tell you that for certain. The chocolate drizzle on top will be fine and those made with sour cream.

  • Thanks so much for sharing your techniques. The cookies look amazing.

On another note, I wanted to ask if it's ok to freeze cookies I turns out I need to bake more than 1,000 cookies so I was wondering if I could keep them fresh by putting them in the freezer. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

  • yes, we have frozen them before and they are just fine. Just make sure you put them in a freezer bag (or several) so that they dont get freezer burn.

  • Thanks for sharing. By dabbing a little water in between layers of fondant designs, does it still mean the cookie can last a fair few days to a week long?

  • I would sure think so! My guess is that the cookie itself would get stale before the fondant goes bad. The only thing is that the fondant might get a little and not be very appealing if it sits for a week If you are worried about it try freezing them in individual sized ziplocs or cover them and put them in the fridge.

  • Cute and Great!!
