Re learning the idle without consult-2 is a bitch!! Would not recommend it better of going to a dealer and slipping a tech a little cash to do it on the side...
Sometimes I have to restart My Murano 03 many times and hold the pedal little bit to help the engine to run before driving it. After that everything is going smooth . Is that from Throttle Body and if so do I have to clean it or replace it ?
nice video, but what would you do if ecu won't keep normal idle after engine is restarted ? (relearn worked fine until the engine was shut and started again) ??
did you have to unplug your battery? last time i unplugged the throttle body with the battery connected, when i reconnected and restart, my idle was screwed up
Idle relearn need to be performed every time the throttlebody cable is disconnected. The procedure is at the end of this video and can also be found in the factory service manual.

@bythabayplayer I did the same stuff on my ford but it did not have to be learned? Idle was working perfectly ... why so?

@richierich18 if you dont do that your car will blow apart like mine did.

when do u want to clean the throttle body?
BoingBear35 3 years ago
It'll depend on how much blow-by you have, however, every 60k is a good idea.
