One of my best friends just passed away last month. She died in her sleep on Saturday November 5th. She wasn't sick or anything. We were in class the day before and she looked as healthy as can be and she was all smiley and cheery. I loved her so much and I always will. When I hear this song, I bawl my eyes out because it makes me think of her and I miss her tremendously. School is certainly not the same with out her. It's like a piece of me is missing. :'(

Even now, I can see in my mind's eye the tear stained "My Hero" essay she brought home from Elementary School so many years ago (yes, I ;-)was her hero back then). I can feel her little hand wrapped around my fingers and no doubt her eyes are as much mine as her heart is. This is weird......but this song makes me cry and im not even a momma to a real kid.I have 3 reborn baby girls (and 2 boys) but whenever I have a bad day holding them is so special to me.I can't live without my girls,they are in a way,my kids.I love them more than words can say! :)

One of my best friends just passed away last month. She died in her sleep on Saturday November 5th. She wasn't sick or anything. We were in class the day before and she looked as healthy as can be and she was all smiley and cheery. I loved her so much and I always will. When I hear this song, I bawl my eyes out because it makes me think of her and I miss her tremendously. School is certainly not the same with out her. It's like a piece of me is missing. :'(

Christmas Eve morning. Tears streaming down my face. My sweet baby girl is 18 now. Oh, the power of music. Even now, I can see in my mind's eye the tear stained "My Hero" essay she brought home from Elementary School so many years ago (yes, I ;-)was her hero back then). I can feel her little hand wrapped around my fingers and no doubt her eyes are as much mine as her heart is. Thank you for such a tender reminder of what was, what is, and what will be.Truly a Christmas blessing :-D

My daughter Jordyn was stillborn at 30 week's gestation 6 years ago & I played I Hope You Dance by Leeanne Womak at her memorial service. I had another daughter, Jaidyn, almost 2 years ago. This one's for her. She keeps me going when once I thought my life was over when I lost my other baby girl 7 I wanted to die.The ONLY thing worse that I can imagine would have been to lose her AFTER she had lived on this Earth & I loved her even more! It's hard this time of year b/c one is still missing...

My aunt died on nov. 6 2011. This was played at her funeral. I miss her so much! She left behind her daughters Ashlyn age 15, Megan age 10, and Kelsey age 5. I know that she is know up in heaven with her third oldest which would be 7 this december. She died 2 months after her birth. R.I.P. Deanna Rose

My name is lizzy and i am 12 years old. 5 years ago my mom got lung cancer and it spread all over. My mom knew she was dying so she recorded a bunch of tapes of lessons for me to learn along the way of my life. In august of 2009 she passed away at 10:12 pm. I was then depressed for quite a while. I didn't really understand much of anything then. but 4 years ago when I was just about to turn 14, she died of a heart attack. here I am almost 3 days from 18, I listened to this song today for the first time in a long time and got goosebumps and chills. it's like she was here, telling me she loves me and everythings okay. but theres more I hate about her then love about her.She never spends time with me..shes out partying almost every night for as long as I can remember.I'm 19 now and she tells me I don't need her anymore when it comes to spending time together because im with my friends alot but she don't realize that ill always need my mom.I wish mom would understand me more..but she never did.My little girl will always know how much I love her and not one day will go by that I won't tell her

But I just gave stillbirth to my baby boy yesterday and I can't be with him or spend time with him. But if I had the choice I would. Have you told your mom you want to spend time with her? I know it isn't my business but it hurts me to see that ugly word hate. Just keep trying.

I wish I could feel this way about my mom. But she left me.. Foe her 27 year old boyfriend. She left my dad after they were married for 25 years.. She told me she wants nothing to do with me. So I live with my grandma Which is my dads mom and amazing. But hearing thast from my mom a couple of months ago at only 14 is hard to deal with..

This song brings tears to my eyes everytime I hear it I lost my lil girl in 2009 at 15 months old to SIDS she's not longer here with me but is still teaching me how to live on without her here so in a way she's my hero and I feel like she's looking down on me and is so proud of everything I have done even though it's hard not having her here with me it's made me see things a whole different way I miss her more then anything but I know she's safe in Gods arms RIP baby girl love you so so much
