One interesting foot note is that the republicans have a "party" rule that if indicted you have to resign. The democrats have no such rule. Does anyone know why the FBI search of his office was unconstitutional? Ask Newt Gingrich. He and another repub asked the court to declare the search of Jefferson's office unconstitutional. The court agreed and threw out the evidence.

The Founding Fathers intended for it to be easy to vote people out of office. Sadly, these clowns have gamed the system for quite a while now and treat their positions as if they were tenured (and we all know how difficult it is to remove a tenured professor). A lot of these people also are kept in office by people who just don't give a damn about their unethical, even illegal, behavior.
