In the U.S. alongside that raw egg and rice, besides the soy sauce, one would add cooked bacon, maybe salami, a small portion of bbq ribs from the night before. Maybe they'ed even sneak the raw egg and rice back into the fry pan and make fried rice with shrimp, green onions, round onions, bell pepper. The protein resulting would be soo high that one would have to increase work productivity and wipe out this recession.

Considering that, eating raw eggs in America or Australia is relatively as safe as it's gonna get. @EvilSweatSHOP I think I've built up an immunity. I've eaten all kinds of raw batter since I was little. It could also only happen when the egg has been sitting out too long collecting and growing bacteria? But you should still always play it safe. I actually heard the only accounts of salmonella came from those peanut butter and spinach incidents.. not eggs. I don't know about chicken though. raw chicken is nasty lol some people consume raw eggs regularly for good health.
