I was a teenager in the noughties so missed this movement but I love the 80s and 90s bands - gimme the Mondays, Roses, Smiths, Manics, Pulp, Oasis, Blur, Radiohead, Pixies, R.E.M., Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins over any of today's crap.

Only genuinely great bands from my time are The Libertines, The Strokes, Arcade Fire and KOL before they went shit.

BTW God's Cop is one of the best songs ever, so, so underrated!
