It's so they can make the game accessible to a wider audience. I remember when I was about 7 I had Microprose Grand Prix 1 for the Atari and I loved playing it with autobrake because it was just too hard otherwise... after a little while when I started getting better at the game I was able to play with autobrake off.

No, it didn't actually but Forza 2 does and so does Gran Turismo 3,4 & 5.

PGR 1 ran at 60fps on the old Xbox and yet PGR 2,3 & 4 all run at 30fps. That's the main reason I don't play PGR games any more.

Some people have higher standards than others. I find 30fps racing games very fatiguing and juddery and vastly inferior to 60fps racing games (assuming equal gameplay).

Some people have no problem with 30fps game though. Lucky them.

yah but PGR 4 is still a little fun i like the fact that there is different weather and stuff like that but PGR 4 ,3 etc they are not simulators they are arcade games
