The thing is that real Christians don't do the things that you do honey. I was trying to make a point of it by approaching it as, if atheism doesn't hold, then any contradictory statement with a logical answer would be the one that holds; in this case it is theism. With all of that evidence, it is the most supported theory because it alone holds its ground.

@curemymind I was using miracles as backing evidence to support my theory (not really mine, just same old theism). I was using miracles as an evidence to the existence of god. It makes atheism look like a leap when compared in terms of logic. The thing is that real Christians don't do the things that you do honey. @curemymind. Lacy wants to paint atheists as "virtuous" and Christians as evil. That's simply not true. Lacy wants to claim that atheists have consciences but Christians only do good for heavenly "brownie points". Again, not true. Lacy wants to claim that Christians are free to sin or do wrong because we can simply be "forgiven", when the Bible teaches the opposite (John 8, Rom. 5-6). I'm not a fan of people who misrepresent others. Just sayin'.

We Christians also have to live with what we've done. We feel bad. But we can put it all behind us because Christ forgives us and throws our sins away. He forgets about our sins when we ask Him for forgiveness. So don't go saying that we Christians don't feel bad. I feel bad for things that I've done so many years ago. But I know that I've been forgiven by the Father. <3

@AshJ2015 Well put. She doesn't really realize that sins are forgiven but still accounted for. She doesn't "grasp" that (I know it sounds mean). Christians don't just say sorry, they also turn away and keep from doing that again; which is the definition of repentance.

Think of a total asswipe who goes to church, now think of a really nice guy who attends church as well. They come in all levels of morality, don't they? So now I think we can conclude that morality is based on the individual, not the religion. @curemymind It's not that believing in god that saves you, its repenting and turning away from your sins that does! It's kind of like making a pact to do good and abandon your wicked ways. It is all about truly regretting your misdeeds and wishing you had never done that. We are very aware that there MANY christians in hell, it's no free pass, and you have to work to get it right in order to be forgiven. Peace and love :D

You have to work to get it right on earth and truly, truly TRULY regret it not just some "Oh, I'm so sorry now can I pleeze has heaven ;D."....No, I'm afraid that won't fly with the lord. In fact, you seem under to be under the impression that we don't really regret for our misdeeds. IF that is the EXACT case scenario then he'd probably get his/her ass REJECTED. @curemymind Well, one of the "steps", if you will, is to look at the idea that in some endless, spanning universe it would be fairly ignorant to not believe that god isn't somewhere in the endlessness; from a scientific perspective. You were obviously raised to be a good person, so you'd act as such. Those two questions, however, cannot be answered by science....

@curemymind What I meant to say is, I think it all adds up! When I had said "Why do we?" or "Why not?" I had meant to say that in a sense that there could not possibly be any other answer. I was trying to make a point of it by approaching it as, if atheism doesn't hold, then any contradictory statement with a logical answer would be the one that holds; in this case it is theism. With all of that evidence, it is the most supported theory because it alone holds its ground.

@curemymind I was using miracles as backing evidence to support my theory (not really mine, just same old theism). I was using miracles as an evidence to the existence of god. It makes atheism look like a leap when compared in terms of logic. It has more evidence on its side and I would think that the belief that everything is arbitrary and unexplainable is a bit more of a "leap". Oh, and Jesus loves you ( I know, not evidence :( ....) <3

@curemymind God is my God because He is the one true God! Any religion that believes in the one true God will get to Heaven, as long as they truly believe. Those other "gods" people speak of are non-existent. He is the True God because his Son died for us, and has forgiven us of our sins.
