Received this video by email again. It's been circulating in Brazil for years now, which is great because drivers there can be very reckless and drive after drinking. I lost a cousin for this reason on Christmas day 8 years ago. Another cousin nearly died after crashing against a tree. He'd spent the night at a nightclub and drank more than he should have. He suffered some brain damage and is not an independent person anymore. His mother told me it's just like looking after a baby all over again

I spent 4+ months in the hospital and have undergone four surgeries to date. By law my auto insurance should have covered my medical bills. State Farm however, decided they were not going to pay. He got off but was still hit with a rather large bill for her victim's compensation.

@leandrovasca Acredito que não é isso que o vídeo está questionando. Independentemente de como cada pessoa reage à bebida e às drogas, elas não devem dirigir se beberem ou usarem drogas. Parece que só quem já teve alguém querido envolvido em um acidente entende isso. A probabilidade de acontecerem acidentes quando o motorista está bêbado é muito maior, senão não existiriam leis que proíbem pessoas bêbadas de dirigir.

Se as drogas e o álcool afectam o cérebro ás pessoas e não há ninguém imune a isso, logo maior a probabilidade de terem acidentes, ou causarem-nos a pessoas que nem sequer têm nada a ver. Nem todos os que bebem causam acidentes, uns por sorte. Há sempre aqueles que causam acidentes sem beberem, mas muitos mais são os casos que causam por beberem ou consumirem drogas.
Os seres humanos não podem ser comparados, mas o organismo pode.

I think these ads SHOULD be shown. For all the Police, ambos, fire fighters, volunteers, innocent bystanders and families who get caught up in these tragedies. Such a timely reminder not to drink and drive, not to speed and most importantly, get home safely to your family and friends.

Não penses que as precauções são apenas para os automobilistas. Os peões são um quinto das mortes nas estradas. Além disso, muitas vezes o acompanhante do condutor pode fazer bastante para evitar acidentes. Na próxima vez que fores pegar no carro depois de beber pensa um bocadinho neste vídeo.

This campaign could have saved a couple of hundred more lives if they ALL could have been screened in Tasmania. Infelizmente, o Brasil não é um país sério! Nos países sérios, quem provoca acidentes sob qualquer tipo de drogas (alcool, e outras drogas ilícitas) são encarados como um ser que põe munição (toma droga) em uma arma (carro) e aponta e atira em outra pessoa (conduz um carro sob efeito da droga).
Há que ser punido como um homicida!!!

@leandrovasca Acredito que não é isso que o vídeo está questionando. Independentemente de como cada pessoa reage à bebida e às drogas, elas não devem dirigir se beberem ou usarem drogas. Parece que só quem já teve alguém querido envolvido em um acidente entende isso. A probabilidade de acontecerem acidentes quando o motorista está bêbado é muito maior, senão não existiriam leis que proíbem pessoas bêbadas de dirigir.

Se as drogas e o álcool afectam o cérebro ás pessoas e não há ninguém imune a isso, logo maior a probabilidade de terem acidentes, ou causarem-nos a pessoas que nem sequer têm nada a ver. Nem todos os que bebem causam acidentes, uns por sorte. Há sempre aqueles que causam acidentes sem beberem, mas muitos mais são os casos que causam por beberem ou consumirem drogas.
Os seres humanos não podem ser comparados, mas o organismo pode.
