"Evil" is a product of ignorance, which has never been able to accept the ultimate reality as it is, & has enlarged individual strong "ego" to the global one, creating walls instead of bridges.....But it is not an issue to bother with it. Although I am a pagan, I feel that there is a strong, brotherly bond between Buddhism and paganism. If what the Christian extremists say is true, that Buddhism is basically an "evil" pagan religion that rebels against Jesus Christ (which it is not), then so be it.
