I have the same set up minus the air filter and Im getting serious backfiring. What settings do you have the fuel man. system set on?

No baffles mate. Took them out. I dOn't think V&H have 'em in black which if they had, would be my first choice of color. Anyways thanks and fyi, that was the mechanic riding the bike.

Hi, I'm about to order one of these for my new Vstar 950. I was wondering if you can tell me if you have any issues with the top pipe getting in the way of your right leg?...it seems it may make contact with the leg when is resting in the foot rest... which could be a problem is the pipe gets too hot?..I'd appreciate the feedback.

Have you noticed any performance increases with these? These are the best looking pipes that I've seen for the 950 so far. Very loud though. If they could tailor the sound of these to match the cobra slashdowns, they would be perfect.
