That is why this is a High School. I wouldn't expect anymore out of a High School, but I would expect more out of a professional or even community theater.

My director doesn't do stuff exactly as the movie. Though we have never done this... Also these guys suck at acting! The don't bring me in at all! We have a girl in our school. THAT CHICK CAN ACT HER ASS OFF! OMG! I konw she is going to be famouse one day. Srry I'm off subject. None of them where that good I mean that max was horrible! I didn't like the carmen either I don't know what the people below me are thinking.

Andeaver.... I have been so blessed as to see the actual Broadway stage production of this particular musical... and this scene is performed live EXACTLY the same as the DAMN MOVIE. Since you're obviously more experienced and knowledgeable than the professionals, your opinion matters SO much.
