  • Actually the whole seat containing Cees van Loevezijn was ripped out and thrown from the cab.

  • Driven by expert Theo van de Rijt, 37-year-old from the Netherlands seven starts at the Dakar Rally, passing in a bumpy stretch at about 180 km/h suddenly somersaulted and was completely destroyed. Co-driver Kees van Loevezijn, standing in the right side of the cabin was thrown out of the truck and was killed upon impact, while Theo van de Rijt and the third occupant of the truck, Scot 24-year-old Chris Ross, being seriously injured.

  • it was 200kph or 140mph . should wach daf turbo twin 1988 . the truck was as fast as the pug 405 racecars. verry sad accedent .
