  • Phhhhht Easy Since now i am blue belt

  • Omg nice poomse! I am currently training at Lee's Martial Arts (LMA) And Im only a white belt sadly. But My Instructor let me skip a belt straight to orange and this poomse and really helping me a lot! You rock!

  • lawd ham mercy wat is this?

  • i`m a blue belt.that looks good to me

  • When I tell people i practice Taekwon-do, I always tell them i practice ITF. This movie is one of the reasons...

  • TAGB IS SO MUCH BETTER THEN THIS and TAGB is ment to be touch in the compertitions!! lol

i do TAGB, there is no ITF around my area :(

  • wow itf is so much better then wtf

  • @antmpg

if you were an experienced martial artist, who understands the concepts of a few different styles, you would know that there are no better styles, it depends on the person, for example muay thai isnt better than krav maga or vice versa.

  • Comment removed

  • @antmpg The WTF is a bastardized version of Taekwon-Do. No breath control, sine wave, or the General's philosophy.

  • @sb9715 Hate to tell you but Gen Choi was pretty much booted out of Korea. WTF won the battle.

If you are really going to compare hyung or pommse. Soo Bahk Do has it over both of them.

  • haha that looked hilarious.

  • I have to change from ITF to WTF because I have no choice in new town and oh no: these patterns look totally different from what I've learnt!

  • thats no right

  • The noise lol

  • im a yellow belt

  • Yeah. His technic isn't perfect enough, you 're right, 'he doesn't represent all people in the wtf world'. He seems a boring guy doing a poomsae.

But in the other hand we ALL have to respect his own work and his master's work

    Cheers.

  • ha ha ha I suck in my taekwondo class so this should help me ; )

  • ITF suppose to be in the olympic and the only tae kwon do out there. The problem is the government of Korea doesnt like General Choi and the whole thing messed up

  • @k9ck024 Gen Choi led a movement to stop taekwondo from being in the Olympics or to be practiced as a sport.

  • not the best really, but just to get the basic idea of the pattern is really good. i dont need this pattern as i know them all, but thats for putting it on anyways! ,, and all of them political people who argue about wtf and itf, save it! this completley political sport can do without people like that, byee x

  • hey mulatto.

    waz good.

dis guy is is actual swag lmao

  • It's a rip off of Chon Ji

  • col i haqd to do that toget my orange belt( i am now a green belt do u know tae guk sam jain?

  • Lol. "WTF" was that?

  • WTF acctually stands for "world taekwondo federation"

  • Yeah. Itf may look better but you all get beat on at Olympic Style Tournaments.

  • tsjee gaat mij wat te snel

  • WTF - shite ! it really anoys me when people dont put power into their patterns and there stances arent ever right!!! ITF is sooo betta !!! when i was a white belt i done c

chon ji better than what that guy doin !!

  • beverage2008, not everything is suitable for everyone, we should respect that instead of making our own martial art look better by mocking others...i used to be in itf but when we moved to different city, they had only wtf. i agree with you that in itf they pay more attention to movements but i can still find some good points from wtf too.

  • yep i think this is rubish,

even if you whatch four directional punch in ITF done by whight belts it looks far better than this.

    no power

    no efort

    crap short stance

    no hip twist

    no breath control

    no signwave or anything

i just don't understand how nobody realised how crap it was and changed it??

  • its the 1st Poomse, and its for white belts. It is not ment to have anything too complicated. As they advance they get harder and although its not the point also better looking...

  • oh yeh thats right i was just looking at the others.

  • WTF= WAT THE FUCK!!!! how can u produce power with no stances, no breath control, no hip twist and most importantly no effort. i'd really like to kno!

  • Sorie no offence but WTF patterns Doesn't have any power in it at all and is too robot and never even breathe. power comes from sine wave and waist and prepare motion he doesn't have all at all.

  • beutyful il jang

  • beutyful il jang

  • how come WTF don't use sinewave? the very principle that gives the movements in taekwondo their power. how come they never seem to show any emotion in their patterns? you could do this kind of effortless crap all day and not feel the slightest bit tired. in ITF when going through patterns chonji to choongmoo you're absolutely exausted by the time you finish, as every movement is done with 100% power and effort, and every muscle in the body is used to generate that power. WTF is just...shitty

  • to be fair i study wtf and even il jang, the first poomsae taught, that was demonstrated can cause tirednesss if done correctly, and if the right amount of power and most importantly technique is executed you will have an almoust flawless patern

  • The whole idea of learning how to fight well is learning how to generate massive amounts of power and fight for hours WITHOUT getting tired! If your form makes you tired you are doing it WRONG!#@$!!! Why would you want to learn a way of moving that makes you more tired that the person you are fighting?? If you want to build muscle then lift weights and if you want endurance then sprint hills 3 times a week and run 1 hour a day on none sprint days. The rest of you need to stop talking trash.

  • sorry for asking but when you lift weights, sprint hills 3 times a week and run 1 hour a day on none sprint days do you feel tired? Ofcourse you do, right? To be able to endure a fight that can last for hours you have to practice with your hardest and that has to make you tired. If you practice a patern without putting effort all you are doing is dancing... thats why when done correctly it tires you. because you are putting it your all!

  • First, show me a real street fight that lasted for hours. In a ring? Very, Very few. On the street people have friends.

Dancing is all you should be doing. Don't get hit, hit hard and make them loose timing and balance. You move in the most relaxed way possible. The only time the muscles get tight are on impact and then only the ones that are needed. Think of a cat, are they tight? If you practice tight, you will fight tight. If you pull punches, you will pull punches in a fight. Relax and win.

  • Ok, I only used the comment of fighting for hours because you used it... to quote you "learning how to generate massive amounts of power and fight for hours" HOURS! you said it, i didn't...

Second! in tae kwon do we not only do patters, and they are not ment to help with how fast you move, but with technique and balance of your movements. So when you are in a fight you don't just rely on animal instics. The repetitive movements of patterns will react on a fight and give you an upper hand...

  • :-)

Yes. Tech and bal are keys with timing & distancing, presenting openings to you opponents so you have some idea about where they will attack. Winning is all about hitting well without getting hit, on one level. On another it is about being able to withstand the hits. It is about knowing you are right & that you are better other you are fighting, you are the one that will and must win. None of this is helped by keeping muscles tight that are not needed to do a move, or protect. tight = tired.

  • and as i said before patterns is not all we do. To be able to withstand the hits we have sparing secions. to move faster and relaxed most tae kwon do classes give their students lessons just on this.

You have to understand that tae kwon do its a very complete martial art. It is not like Judo (in which there is no punching or kicking and is only take downs) although we do have take downs our selves. So stop trying to find the flaws on patters, because they serve THEIR purpose and only that...

  • Tight isn't always bad. If you don't keep your abs tight, you'll fold over at the first hit landed. If you don't keep your mouth shut, your jaw will get hurt.

  • And if you do both the whole fight you will get very tired. Tight is only good at the right time.

  • Actually if your forms makes you tired its actually good. Form is like similar to the way you do in real life fights

  • And why would you want to get tired in a real fight? Why would you want to do your form in a way that makes you more tired? This is like wanting to drive your car with the brakes on because it uses more gas that way and that is what happens in a race.

  • Ok, tell me thats the point of forms when there is no power?

  • In 500 char?1:power comes from strength or mass or speed together. 2:Winning comes from putting this power into the weakest target that you can hit. 3:Other side, don't get hit!! 4:Hide what you do.5:Confuse the enemy.6:Timing and distance must be perfect.7:Give targets that the enemy will want to attack so you can predict him and hit him.8:Do this with as little endurance sapping movement as possible while making him work hard!A good art has forms that do all this. Some forms have other uses.

  • lol WTF is just shitty... hahahaha.... First of all lets break down ur comment... show any emotions... wat emotions should they show? happiness? anger/rage? confused? bored? tired? sad? The emotion he is showing is calmness... 2nd effortless crap all day. As you can hear the snapping sounds from every strike/movement from his cloth it clearly shows hes putting "some" effort. And also how much effort do u want in the first poomsae? 3rd u said u can do this all day. let see you try all day....

  • how come the WTF broke away from general choi and made their own patterns up?

  • This is because General Choi liked the North better than the South. And obviously Koreans from South Korea didn't like this and so they broke away from the traditional TKD that General Choi created and made their own.

  • nearly right but general choi was born in the north, and forced to fight for the japenese when they invadeed but he fled and joined the korean liberation army. after the war the north and south were divided so he couldnt retern to the north. he rose to general in the south korean army but the south korean predident resented and persecuted choi for being north korean so choi left korea and lived in canada taking his style of TKD with him. he later returned to the north in 1980.

  • He doesnt show it that good, he is not looking before he ´turns to another side, and he looks like a robot doing it. its not very good

  • Thanks for showing, I'll do my best to do it like you!

  • great! i am also learning to do as great as this master :P

  • @pjlighthouse you are amazing!

  • gamsahamnida ajussi;)

  • no bet he couldnt, not like that. Keep at it Nikkole!

  • That Was Amazing. I'm Doing This Is Training Right Now. =]

  • this one is easy :P

  • i know, it gets pushed in to much when you train this sport! i can dream this one!

  • Shut Up Dumbass. I Bet You Couldn't Do It.

  • Taegeuk Il jang issent that hard... i bet everyone could do it... (learn'd it on 1 day of training)
