I have been writing of the Barney Smith who lives and votes in Fairmount, said that he was a "proud Republican" at the DNC and, as the public record shows, voted Democrat in 2 of the last 3 primary elections. Not one person has been able to prove me wrong about Barney's public voting record. Instead, they have only called me names. Barney became a public figure when he mislead millions of people at the DNC. Pity that I have to do the job of the local newspaper by reporting this on youtube.

"Proud Republican," Barney? The Grant County (IN) voting records say different. In the last three voting cycles, you voted Republican ONCE, Democrat TWICE and DIDN'T VOTE AT ALL PRIOR TO THAT. Why not be thankful that you were able to get another job when Thompson closed instead of lying to millions of people about your political history? Was a few minutes of fleeting fame really worth the lie?

iam Barney smith wife of 34 years.I know for a fact he has been a republican all the years we have been married Also there is another bernard a smith in grant country! So maybe next time you might get your facts sraight! We do not live in Marion In We live in Fairmount In. I know for a fact he only voted for John Carey when he ran. we go togther to vote! been doing it for years! Maybe you should think about getting a life and stay out of others!also voted in the primary for Obama.What a baby!
