On the Eric Martin crash: Even in practice runs those drivers have spotters. When Martin first crashed all the other cars should have been on alert and knew exactly where on the track he was sitting, so how was that last driver still flying around that corner on the high side of the track? And I didn't see any smoke from the car trying to break at all.

Its kind of crazy that Neil Bonnet was lost in what looks like turn 4 of Daytona in practice. Years later Dale looses his life in virtually the same spot...and obviously the two were great friends even off the track. I miss cheering for Sr. and Nascar will never be the same without him.
