the monaro/gto is ok for styling, i have a 05 gto, i bought the car for its performance/overall value.the exterior styling is(ok)but the interior is awesome. but this car doesnt compare to the new camaro. actually us americans didn't like the gto styling to much because sales went down and they discountinued it.i think its a great overall car but wouldnt have bought without the drivetrain.

what really makes the monaro great is the all american ls1/ls2.

true, but the car was built by aussies. the style is paramount. a mustang and a towncar have the same engine, but people buy each one for their own characteristics. Have a look at my car, FPV F6 Typhoon, a falcon that was american but now done by aussies. We do some great work, enjoy the new G8 from us too
