I really hate people comparing Uwe Boll with Ed Wood. Even though Ed was a bad director, he at least helped Bela Lugosi career. And also, Ed at least had "original" ideas and didn't copied from video game adaptation and just did it for money. Also who the hell fights with his critics to show he is a good director. I saw Plan 9 from outer space and to me...its just seemed like any other fairy rubbish low budget fifties movie. The swap thing movies looked just as bad. Like nerd says actually its the entertainment value that puts them a cut above. The only really bad thing I thought about the movie was the fact that the lugosi character replacement was so blatantly not the same. Nothing else really interupted my suspended disbelief and the hammy characters and dialogue do create thier own little world.

I actually liked Glen or Glenda, the only thing kinda odd is the dragon narration by Bela, it didn't make any sense to me.

"Pull the strings" was used because Bella is allegedly the puppet master of humanity and was encouraging the protagonist to come clean (to his girlfriend) about his transsexual tendencies. The odd footage about creepy people, the devil, buffaloes running around is all part of his subconscious while the character was taking the decision, IDK, it was a smart way to present it
